Backstory: Kyubok Kim Sejong was born into a strict and disciplined household where his parents were relentless and pushed him to become successful. They expected him to become a doctor or lawyer and so they applied a lot of pressure on him. Sejong was always a quiet and shy child and he was terrified of disappointing his parents. However, his dream was to become a professional dancer and an idol. He knew that his passion would never be accepted by his parents and so he kept it a secret. Sejong worked very hard at school and in his free time he secretly practiced dancing and singing. Sejong grew older and worked his way through school. His parents placed intense pressure on him to become successful in their chosen profession. Sejong was miserable, but he followed their orders out of fear of their rejection and anger. Sejong continued to secretly practice and train for his dream.

One day, whilst still in high school, one of his friends took him to a party. At the party there was a group of guys performing a dance routine. Sejong fell in love with the performance and felt even more motivated and determined to become an idol. Sejong began putting all of his effort and time into improving his dancing skills and honing his singing voice. He would spend hours each day learning and practicing. Sejong kept everything secret from his parents, as he knew he would face their strict discipline and disapproval. He worked very hard, training even in the middle of the night.

Sejong kept his dream and ambition to become an idol a secret from everyone except his best friend. He knew he would need all the encouragement he could get in order to succeed, but he was too scared to reveal himself to anyone else, Making it into the current day...he finally made it...after all of that.
