   The Second American Civil War is a civil conflict that takes place in the United States of America in late 2021 or early 2022 as a result of political polarization and extremism which causes a total collapse of the central government.

   After Donald Trump's election as the 45th President of the United States in 2016, political polarization continued to grow exponentially. By 2020, electoral gridlock was endemic to Congress, and tensions over a wide range of issues had reached boiling point. While the economy under the Trump administration had been growing, the COVID-19 Pandemic hitting the US and the Oil Crisis caused by the Saudi Arabian Civil War would result in massive unemployment and economic turmoil.

   Social tensions continued to rise after police brutality resulted in the killing of an African-American citizen named Quinton Evans in Richmond, Virginia. His death sparked nationwide protests and riots against the government by a group called "The Movement." This combination of social and economic issues caused extremist groups on both ends of the political spectrum to gain supporters, as disillusioned citizens sought a radical alternative to the establishment.

   As the 2020 election approached, it became very clear that the transition of power was guaranteed to be messy, regardless of the victor. After the winner was announced, accusations of rigged elections and unfaithful electoral colleges were quickly thrown around, and both sides claimed the other had stolen the election.

   Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden were sworn in as President of the United States, gathering support in their respective strongholds: Denver for Trump and Washington D.C. for Biden. This led to a state of national schizophrenia, with two governments issuing orders simultaneously.

   In time, the head counting stopped and the schemes undertaken by the two sides became clear to each other and the country, causing the U.S. to collapse into anarchy.

   Background: After the 2020 election, Donald Trump and those in the Republican Party who supported him evacuated to the NORAD Cheyenne Defense Complex in Colorado to inaugurate Trump as President. From there, Trump began issuing orders to consolidate control over the country and military forces. Eventually this national schizophrenia became so severe that federal control collapsed.

   Trump then moved to seize control over the Midwest and the majority of the Great Plains including Denver as part of his new government in opposition to the Washington-based Union of America led by Joseph Biden. Both sides refused diplomacy and refused to back down after a 30 day ultimatum was issued. This signalled the beginning of the Second American Civil War.

   Leader: Donald Trump Capital: Denver, Colorado Ideology: Trumpism, Right-Wing Populism, Anti-establishment, pro-Trump libertarianism, Trump-led cult of personality. Military Strength: About 30% of the Armed Forces defected to Trump during the start of the war. Their numbers are bolstered by many different militia groups and defected National Guard troops.

   The ACG's military doesn't have many strengths, if any. While they have the second-largest fighting force (behind the Unionists) in the civil war, the bulk of their forces are in militias, not an organized military. The military high command is beset by factionalism and can't agree on how to fight the civil war.

   Worst of all, the rural economy of the Midwest means that the ACG's ability to fight a prolonged conflict is severely hindered. They can barely manufacture new equipment, relying on existing stockpiles to arm their troops.

   Uniforms: formal troops wear standard US Army uniforms and gear, at least whatever gear they could grab.

   Militias wear less standardized uniforms, often not even wearing military fatigues. But they usually have some signifier to show their loyalty (such as a 3% symbol for the Three-Percenters or the "Oathkeepers" badge).

   Red tape on arms & legs signify their allegiance to Denver. Commissars and the most ideologically-driven troops wear MAGA hats. Available Weapons: Most formal troops are armed with modern weapons, gear, armor and vehicles. Although these may be more ramshackle than their Unionist counterparts due to lack of replacements and spare parts.

   Militias get by on civilian weapons, looted National Guard stockpiles, and stolen Unionist gear. They don't have access to tanks or heavy equipment.

   Trumpism is a political movement in the United States that encompasses the political ideologies associated with Donald Trump and his supporters. It includes right-wing populism, right-wing anti globalism, national conservatism, and neo-nationalism, and is characterized by strong illiberal beliefs. Throughout his leadership Trump emphasized reliance on strong national values, natalism, and America First policies. He took control of the movement and weeded out disloyal individuals from its ranks. The populists have become the core of the movement, always putting the interests of American citizens first. The ideologeme has been solidified. His acolytes will now follow them to the latter.

   Background: After the 2020 election, Joseph Biden was inaugurated in Washington D.C. as President. However, following the collapse of federal authority, Biden established a new government in the nation's capital known as the Union of America. The new government was a coalition of liberal, progressive, and neoconservative elements against Donald Trump's American Constitutional Government in Denver, Colorado.

   Leader: Joe Biden Capital: Washington, D.C. Ideology: Pro-establishment, Neoliberalism, social liberalism, neoconservativism, anti-Trump Republican faction, Liberal Democrat faction, Progressive Democrat faction, anti-Trump Military Strength: 70% of the military, and most of the Air Force stayed loyal to Washington. They also have access to the National Guard forces of their respective states, and international support from former NATO countries.

   Their largest strength is their air force, which gives them near-guaranteed air superiority in any battle.

   However, their biggest weaknesses come from within. Troop morale is low, volunteers are becoming more and more scarce, desertions are common, and expanding conscription risks widespread unrest.

   Additionally, the years of economic collapse and the national collapse of the supply chain has wrecked the nation's capabilities to produce new equipment. The bureaucracy threatens to strangle the life out of not only the civilian economy, but the military as well.

   Uniforms: All troops wear standard U.S. multicam military fatigues and gear.

   Blue tape on arms signify their allegiance to D.C.. Troops typically wear COVID masks, both as a marker of solidarity and to avoid spreading disease. Available Weapons:

   The UoA is the most well-equipped force in the 2ACW, having access to stockpiles of U.S. military equipment, tanks, motorized, mechanized, artillery, and everything else a modern military needs to wage war.

   Background: Far-left groups like the communist Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), gained massive popularity as a result of the economic crash triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Oil Crisis caused by the Saudi Arabian Civil War. One of the most significant actions by these groups was the Freeport Complex Strike, led by the American Jacobin Movement. The strike was violently broken up by Dow Chemical security forces, deepening the far-left's disillusionment with the Democratic Party due to its continued inaction.

   A wave of nationwide strikes followed the far-left's growth, further increased by the riots organized by “The Movement”, a leftist group against police brutality. The leak of the “Wisconsin Papers” dealt a critical blow to the Democratic Party’s credibility, with prominent figures like Barbara Lee defecting to the rising Party of Socialism and Liberation.

   Following the 2020 elections, the PSL announced the formation of the “Community Self-Defense Force,” also known as the American People’s Liberation Army (APLA) and started training thousands of volunteers across the West Coast.

   With the collapse of the United States, the APLA seized control over parts of California to bring about a socialist revolution, now under a broad coalition of Jacobins, Octoberists, Anarchists, and Neosocialists.

   Leader: Micheal Prysner Ideology: Revolutionary Socialism, Anti-Capitalism, Anti-Imperialism

   Currently, the APLA is split into four socialist factions vying for control of the movement.

   • The Octoberists
   • The Anarchists
   • The Neo-Socialists
   • The Jacobinists

   Military Strength: The APLA is primarily militia forces, with a spattering of trained servicemen from discontent veterans and former military / National Guard.

   Infighting between militias is commonplace, and they tend to be divided on ideological lines. They try to avoid shooting each other, but occasionally blood between factions is spilt. This leads to a heavily disjointed officer corps and a borderline-dysfunctional military.

   Their forces are bolstered by support from fellow socialist nations, like China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. China especially has given the APLA officers for training, and armored divisions that can barely be matched by any other force in the 2ACW. This isn't a one-sided relationship, as Chinese influence in the APLA can sway their politics and the direction of their military.

   Uniforms: Since most of their forces are militia, they have no standards for uniforms.

   However, they tend to wear lots of red, mixed in with socialist and communist iconography. These icons can be specific to the faction that the militia is aligned with, such as an Anarchist militia wearing red and black bandanas.

   Available Weapons: Most weapons available are either:

   • Civilian weapons, seized from "reactionaries" and opposing forces
   • seized from National Guard armories
   • Owned by the APLA members themselves This leads to a wide variety of weapons being used.

   Chinese support gives them access to more advanced gear and even some motorized and mechanized equipment. Capital: San Francisco, California Territory: The APLA controls the entire state of California.

   The Anarchists are a far-left political faction headed by Mark Bray and his Black Block of America.

   The Anarchists are the most radical group of the APLA, wishing to see the immediate transition to Communism, skipping the stage of socialism. Culturally, they see American Culture as Reactionary and advocating for a Cultural Revolution targeting any and all elements of American Culture seen as oppressive. The Radical-Sakaist wing of the Black Bloc, is a Post-Marxist one, which wishes to see the dissolution of the Settler-Colonial state and a complete decolonization of the United States.

   The Jacobins are a far-left political faction headed by Caleb Maupin and his organization, the Center for Political Innovation.

   The Jacobins have emerged from the material realities of the worker's struggle in the USA. Seeing that a great deal of the proletariat under the APLA have been mislabeled as reactionary by the rest of the government for their social views, the Jacobins seek to combine socially conservative views with progressive economic policy. Combining American Patriotism with socialism, they advocate for socially conservative policies under the idea that social progressivism is neoliberal in nature, corroding the values held dear by the working class.

   The Neosocialists are a left-wing faction headed by Julia Salazar and the Democratic Socialists of America.

   The Neosocialists are communists who wish to build socialism on top of the current liberal constitutional framework. Rather than burning the current constitution down and writing a new one in place of it, the Neosocialists wish to write the Bill of Rights Socialism which adds a progressive framework to the current US Constitution. It guarantees basic rights such as universal healthcare, guaranteed housing, income security, and wage caps.

   The Octoberists are a far-left political faction headed by Gloria La Riva and the Party for Socialism and Liberation. They are the largest faction among the APLA, although this status quo could shift.

   The Octoberists are a collection of Marxist-Leninist groups that have been operating from before the revolution, such as the PSL and the FRSO. Similar to the Jacobins, they too want a Dictatorship of the Proletariat, with a vanguard party made up of ideologically committed Communists leading the nation. While inter-party democracy will exist through the form of Democratic Centralism, the average worker will not have a direct say in government, instead being represented by elected officials. However, they remain committed to the ideas of Feminism and LGBT liberation, unlike the Jacobins.

    Jacobinism traces its heritage back to the 1789 with the French Revolution. Placing heavy emphasis on civic nationalism, patriotism and the struggle for National Sovereignty in an increasingly hostile world, Jacobin regimes turn to authoritarian methods of control in order to preserve the revolution against its enemies. In order to protect the revolution and forge a new world, Jacobin regimes utilize extensive use of mass surveillance systems, secret police and webs of informants, as well as seeking to control every sector of life, from economics to family dynamics. Paradoxically, Jacobinism draws its legitimacy primarily through populism, resorting to populist measures in order to placate the people, favoring wealth redistribution, extensive social safety nets, as well as more conservative social policies in order to maintain the support of their primarily rural bases of support. While many similarities to the original Jacobinism of the French Revolution do remain, the new Jacobinism of the 21st Century represents a synthesis of the old and the new - the ushering in of a communist society, no matter how high the cost may be.

    Neo-Socialism is a modern form of socialism that deviates from classical Marxism in arguing that class is not the primary or single main contradiction within society. Neo socialists believe that race, sexuality or gender are also primary contradictions, and must also be resolved before communism can successfully be implemented.

    Background: The Patriot Front is a neo-fascist, white supremacist group founded in Texas by Thomas Rousseau in the wake of the disastrous "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia circa 2017. It is an offshoot of the neo-Nazi, alt-right group Vanguard America (VA) specifically it's Texas branch and promotes an Americanized form of fascism unlike it's predecessor.

    Leader: Thomas Rousseau Ideology: Anti-globalism, white nationalism, anti-communism, anti-federalism

    Initially founded as a white nationalist group, Patriot Front has greatly expanded over the the course of the 2020's to encompass a number of alt-right and dissident-right beliefs. All of them are united in their disdain for the current American political system and society.

    Currently, Patriot Front is split into four factions:

    • The Blueshirts
    • The Hamiltionians
    • The Jacksonians
    • The National Justice Party

    Military Strength: Their primary military force are their militia forces, referred to as the Second Continental Army. Their most elite forces are made up of defected National Guardsmen and ex-military.

    While their officers are highly competent, they are effectively independent. They operate their units independently from Rousseau's orders, giving them the opportunity to rape and pillage with impunity.

    Faction in-fighting is prevalent, with groups looking to their own leadership rather than Rousseau or the wider Front.

    Uniforms: Since most of their fighting forces are militias, there is no real standard for uniforms. However, the typical PF member would at least wear a dark blue shirt with tan pants, with a white neck gaiter covering their face. This uniform can be modified to accommodate any military gear they need.

    Available Weapons:

    For infantry, most troops have civilian-available weapons or looted National Guard weapons. Typically armed with AR-15s, sometimes kitted out differently to serve different roles.

    Heavier weapons like tanks and APCs are uncommon, but unheard of. Mainly looted from local National Guard stockpiles. Their favorite fighting vehicles, of course, is the truck with a mounted LMG on the bed.

    Russian support grants them access to some more modern hardware, including tanks.

    Capital: Hartford, Connecticut Territory: Patriot Front controls the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island, while clashing with other factions in the Northeast. Their goal is to unify all of the Northeast, and reclaim the entire country.

    Ideology: Fascism, Neo-Fascism

    The original Patriot Front, founded back in 2017. Seeks to create a new America inspired by the beliefs of it's founder, Thomas Rousseau. Guided by the fervor of their unyielding convictions, they envision a society built through a storm of change and rebirth, seeking to create an America where order and strength guides the nation. Based upon Teddy Roosevelt vision for America, they seek to bring America into its second golden age through collective strength and national pride.

14. #14Patriot Front - Faction - Hamiltonians

    Ideology: Dark Enlightenment

    A group of Dark Enlightenment neoreactionaries in the Sons of Columbia, the Hamiltonians prefer a limited democratic aristocracy led by an educated and enlightened elite, ensuring the new America is a refined harmonious chorus, singing the praises of stability, prosperity, and progress.

    Ideology: Ultraconservatism

    The Jacksonians want to reforge America as a multiparty right-wing democracy dictated by their principles. Envisioning an America where the voice of the ordinary citizen resonates in the halls of power, they wish to break down the barriers of privilege and elitism, while ensuring only those with America's best interests in heart are able to gain any power or influence.

16. #16Patriot Front - Faction - NJP

    Ideology: Neo-Nazism

    Founded in 2020 by alt-right figure Mike Enoch, the National Justice Party is a neo-Nazi political organization within Patriot Front which seeks to radically transform it and America along the lines of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany. They rise above the bleak, decaying landscape of the old republic, perceiving their homeland as an impure alloy that must be melted down to its base elements and reforged into a society of strength, resilience, and honor. For them, the path to America's rebirth is through the crucible of dismantling, a rebirth attained through revolutionary flames.

    The Dark Enlightenment, also called the Neo-Reactionary movement is an anti-democratic, anti-egalitarian, and reactionary philosophical and political movement. A reaction against Enlightenment values, it favors a return to traditional societal constructs and forms of government.

    Background: The NSM was founded in 1974 in Detroit, Michigan by Robert Brannen as one of the many neo-Nazi groups that split off from the American Nazi Party after the assassination of George Lincoln Rockwell. Over the years it became one of the largest neo-Nazi organizations in America until 2010, when its membership greatly reduced. Even still, the NSM remained the face of American neo-Nazism and participated in the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia circa 2017 alongside other alt-right and far-right groups such as the League of the South. By 2019, Burt Colucci took control of the NSM and became it's new leader.

    In the period before the 2020 election, the movement organized marches and started recruiting new members among ex-prisoners. It significantly expanded its ranks, fueled by growing radicalization in response to widespread protests by the Movement, the economic crash triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Oil Crisis following the outbreak of the Saudi Arabian Civil War.

    When the Second American Civil War breaks out, the NSM would occupy parts of Michigan, including its capital Saginaw.

    Leader: Burt Colucci Ideology: National Socialism, Neo-Nazism, White supremacy Ideologically, the movement is split between the Rockwellians and the Hitlerites.

    Military Strength: The NSM is made up of various Neo-Nazi militia groups, each generally falling into the Hitlerite-Rockwellian dichotomy. This leads to heavy amounts of factionalism and infighting. Additionally, these militias are poorly trained, leading to avoidable losses.

    Being stuck in the heart of the Rust Belt, the NSM is not in a position to produce weapons, even at a similar scale to the ACG in the Midwest. The NSM's leadership recognizes this and is passing reforms along to revive the former heart of American industry. Uniforms: No standardized uniforms, but militias will typically wear Neo-nazi icongraphy such as swastikas, skull masks, the black sun, celtic crosses, and so on. More organized groups may wear nazi-esque uniforms or even recreations of Nazi uniforms.

    Available Weapons: The NSM mainly relies on whatever weapons they can get their hands on. Primarily dealing in the black market, they're able to get civilian weapons, seized National Guard weapons, old Soviet surplus, even a few antiques.

    Their armor situation is near-nonexistent. Most of their vehicles are stolen civilian trucks and converted tanks.

    Capital: Saginaw, Michigan Territory: The NSM controls the former state of Michigan.

    The Hitlerite wing of the NSM led by Paul Mullet, placing great value to order, American Nationalism and family unity, values that they perceive as "corrupted" by the "decadent society" with Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers Party as their ideological inspiration. They wish to recreate America in the image of Nazi Germany and advocate for a corporatist planned economy. The Hitlerites consider non-Aryans or non-white and Jewish minorities as a "disease" and will expel if not exterminate them should they conquer America.

20. #20NSM - Faction - Rockwellians

    Keys: Rockwellianist, Rockwellist, Reformist National Socialism, Reformist Nazism, Rockwell, Reformist Nazis, Rockwellian, Rockwellians

    The Rockwellian wing of the NSM led by Jeff Schoep, they argue for "peaceful" alternatives for the non-Aryans rather than taking direct action or extermination with their beliefs and very name derived from American Nazi Party leader George Lincoln Rockwell. Economically they seek a capitalist system with strong government intervention. At the core of the wing lies the belief that reform is crucial if the NSM wants to achieve stability on the long run especially after unification.

    Background: The Atomwaffen Division was founded in Florida in 2015 by Brandon Russell. The group follows an extreme brand of Neo-Nazism and accelerationism based on the writings of James Mason and his book Siege, which advocated for the creation of a white ethno state through mass killings, assassinations, and sabotage. The Division has previously attempted to recruit new followers at many American universities. But the organization would be embroiled in a series of brutal murders throughout the late 2010s such as Devon Arthurs killing his roommates and Sam Woodward killing his former friend Blaze Bernstein. Despite this, Atomwaffen continued to exist online and in the real world for a while, even inspiring similar organizations in Europe and abroad.

    In March 2020, James Mason announced Atomwaffen's disbanding, but it was heavily speculated that they had gone underground. In the period before the 2020 election, Atomwaffen, along with other extremist groups, expanded its ranks with new members thanks to the economic collapse precipitated by the Oil Crisis and COVID-19.

    When New York Governor Bill De Blasio was assassinated, the Atomwaffen Division along with Antifa and Patriot Front are suspected of being behind the assassination. Eventually, when the Second American Civil War broke out, Atomwaffen seized control of much of southern Florida after a series of brutal massacres upon minorities and political dissidents.

    Leader: James Mason Second in Command: Brandon Russell Capital: Fort Myers, Florida Ideology: Accelerationist Neo-Nazism.

    Atomwaffen Division is split between three factions:

    • The Christian faction led by Jordan Jereb. This faction believes in Christian Identity, and a heavily Nazi-fied version of Christianity.
    • The Accelerationists, led by James Mason. This is the mainline group that believe in an extreme form of Neo-Nazism that revolves around genocide and terror to bring about an Aryan utopia.
    • The Satanists, led by Joshua Sutter. They believe in a strange mix of Satanism and National Socialism, heavily influenced by the O9A.

    The AWD follow the "Doctrine of Destruction", where by they inflict as much chaos and damage to the "Judeo-Bolshevik manifestations within American society", so that the white race can rise up and reclaim their position on top. This includes everyone who opposes the Atomwaffen Division, even white people.

    Military Strength: The AWD effectively run a slave state, where the civilians who haven't been killed or fled are forced to produce their weapons and supplies.

    AWD is solely made up of militias, with a few elite units reserved for the most driven and skilled troops. These elite troops pull from defectors from the military, National Guard, and police.

    They primarily recruit from prisoners, the disaffected, and mentally ill teenagers. They also conscript people into being, effectively, meat-shields or distractions. As one can expect, this doesn't make them very effective against an organized military.

    However, Atomwaffen's strength doesn't lie in their firepower or manpower, it's the lengths they are willing to go.

    They are willing to slaughter countless innocents just to send a message. They are willing to spread videos of their members committing war crimes all over the internet, just to demoralize their enemies.

    They are willing to burn fields, raze cities, poison water supplies, and use chemical, biological, or even nuclear weapons to win. While they don't have such weapons, if they got their hands on them, you can be sure they'll use them.

    And if they manage to win the civil war, you can be sure that they will turn America's nuclear arsenal against the world and plunge it into hellfire.

    Uniforms: No standard uniform, but typically wear skull masks & all-black clothes. Available Weapons: Whatever they can scavenge or enslave people to make. Civilian weapons, antique guns, repurposed civilian vehicles, even homemade or 3d-printed firearms. Only their most elite troops get access to military-grade weapons.

    Territory: Atomwaffen Division controls the entire state of Florida, turning it into their own playground of depravity.

Comprised of global terrorist cells, they believe in the Deo Vindex, an entity that will be released through a "nexion" (meaning gateway) and defeat Judeo-Christianity, allowing for Aryan society to colonize the Galaxy through a period of "cosmic evolution" guided by sinister dialectics. Furthermore, they call for activities such as human sacrifice, mass slaughter, the construction of conservatory camps and the practitioning of Dark Magic.

    The Order of Nine Angles (ONA or O9A) is a Satanic left-hand path network that originated in the United Kingdom, but has since branched out into other parts of the world. Claiming to have been established in the 1960s, it rose to public recognition in the early 1980s, attracting attention for its neo-Nazi ideology and activism.
