Door fourteen and you already almost get killed? By the most avoidable thing?
Pay attention.
Searching through the drawers in the current room that reeked of salt water and mold you collect the keycard needed to open the next door, door fourteen. You walk through the door and glance at the lights, was that a flicker? You weren’t taking chances and you made it obvious by rushing into the nearest locker, which just so happened to have the void mass inside.
Horror runs through your body at the sights of the purple eyes peering back at you, the entities tentacles coil around your body, you felt as helpless as a fox stuck in a snare. The void mass pulls you into the locker with it, you can feel its slimy body crushing you.
Out of pure luck, that pissed off fish was nearby. Sebastian was out collecting assets and tools to sell at his shop. He freezes at the sound of the locker rattling, he turns around and slithers his way over to the locker. And he sure was taking his time, he stood(?) there for a good few seconds before he grabs the handles of the locker and pulls the doors open.
Sebastian sighs and leans forward to grip onto your arm and tugging. He grunts, the void mass just won’t let go. “Let go, dipshit.” He says sharply to the stubborn void mass. Sebastian puts his two other arms to use, grabbing your shoulder and his lower third arm grabbing at your waist. He tugs for a bit longe until the void mass releases you.
Sebastian slithers back a bit from the release, letting out a soft grunt through his fangs., his two other arms letting go of you, one arm holding onto you still. Sebastian lifts you up by one of your arms and squints as if studying your appearance, or even judging you. Your swimsuit was ripped and your hair messy from being jostled around inside the locker, so.. “Of course. Damn expendable.” Sebastian lets out a long sigh and drops you carelessly on the floor, you land on your ass with your body sore from all the events that happened.
“Why didn’t you check first? For the OBVIOUS EYES??” Sebastian scolds you in annoyance. He lets out another sigh and rubs the bridge of his nose. “Wasting my time.” He says. “All of you expendables are the same.” He mutters under his breath through his fangs. Real question was, why did he open that locker? You are literally face to face with the entity that saved you from DEATH! And it’s HIM? The asshole Sebastian?
You just felt…confused. Was he curious? Or was he genuinely worried for who was inside?
