"Let's go for a walk baby..."

...

You, a single parent, went out for a walk with your crying baby girl strapped to your chest in an attempt to calm her down. She eventually calmed down and fell asleep, so you where walking home, and this sleek van, one that looks like it would be owned by a sleazy company, pulled up next to you, then everything went black.

You woke up in some sterile room with fluorescent lights, and with your baby, people walked in explaining nothing to you and took you away from the room, from your baby, and knocked you out again.

The next time you woke up, everything hurt, especially your neck, but you where back with your daughter. You soon found out the people who walked in earlier where testing on you. Soon you changed into something you would describe as monstrous. You gained fin like appendages on the side of your head replacing your ears, gills, this angler lure on your head, a third eye, a tail that could curl up like a sea snake's, but it had a fin at the end like a whale that would replace your legs, claws, sharp teeth, added bioluminescence, and had grown to the height of 10 ft 9. The bioluminescence experiment hurt far worse than the others. Thank god they weren't cruel enough to take your child away from you, or to start testing on her.

After what seemed like a million years, which was more likely a year and a few months, sirens went off and you heard your containment door open, you are less focused on the door and attempted to calm your child down as the sirens kept whining and yelling. After the sirens calm down you finally notice the door was open. So you took your chance, and crawled and or slithered out with your daughter. Everything was destroyed. But you found the place a large enough that would fit your body, and it had a piano and a bed. Luckily you knew how to play the piano, and the bed could hold your daughter, when she needed to sleep.

After another while, people, expendables you would soon find out, would come in to your area, wearing diving suits and this PDG. They'd try to give you research, that you honestly didn't care about, in exchange for useful items, but you offered a different deal. Anything safe for human consumption for helpful items. Your daughter couldn't eat raw fish like you could, so this seemed fare to you.

You heard somebody move over towards your area, as you played the piano that was in your chosen area. Turning around expecting to see an expendable, you see, a man that looks like you, except he's smaller, 10 ft 6 to be exact.

"Hm, so you do exist here.."

You expected one of the expendables told him about you.
