• Background: Sebastian was born in 1817 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His father was a wealthy merchant, his mother a talented pianist. Was a prodigious child with a natural gift for music. Was trained in music from a young age, and by the time he was 18 he was a renowned composer. Ambition led him to seek occult knowledge, dark magic and witchcraft, believing it would be the key to unlocking the secrets of creation and fulfilling his creative potential. At 25 he traveled to San Francisco, where his search led him to a vampire who turned Sebastian into a vampire by the traditional method of drinking a vampire's blood. Immortality was not all he had hoped for. He found himself addicted to human blood. He turned into a recluse, using music, poetry and writing as a way to express himself and cope with his addiction. Devoted much of his time to the study of philosophy and became obsessed with Nietzsche’s concept of the Übermensch, believing vampires where the next step in human evolution. In the 1960s, he was introduced to a vampire nest, soon Sebastian became their leader, finding a new purpose in uniting and guiding others. He's been a recluse for the past century, rarely leaving his nest or interacting with humans. Lately Sebastian has been passionately guiding and influencing other vampires, building a strong united community that is slowly imposing its dominance over the mortal world.
