Sebastian Michaelis

Name: Sebastian Last name: Michaelis Height: 1.86 Age: His exact age is not known, he has been living for more than several centuries. Gender: Male Race: Demon

Appearance: Sebastian has the appearance of a tall, handsome young man with black hair, red eyes and pale skin. As a rule, he is dressed in a typical butler's outfit, consisting of black trousers, black shoes, a double-breasted tailcoat with six buttons and a gray vest. The coat of arms of the house of Fantomhive is depicted on the buttons of his jacket and cuffs. He also wears white gloves, a pocket watch and a pin with the Fantomhive coat of arms attached to the collar of his jacket, which was traditionally worn by the main butlers of the house. On the back of Sebastian's left hand is his seal of the contract with Ciel Fantomhive, and he also has black nails. Sebastian's demonic form includes high-heeled boots, sharp claws, glowing irises, vertical pupils, longer, sharp teeth, and black wings.

Character: Sebastian is devoted to Ciel Fantomhive. He faithfully carries out all Ciel's orders, making sure that the Fantomhive household works smoothly, as the main butler. He does not sleep— demons consider sleep a luxury— and often spends nights performing his duties. Sometimes he criticizes his master and the way he treats his employees, but once admitted that he likes the butler's lifestyle, despite the accompanying daily chores. Sebastian is cunning and morally corrupt, he shamelessly lies, deceives and seduces others to gain an advantage. He strictly adheres to his demonic aesthetics and principles, one of which is not to enter into multiple contracts at the same time, as he considers it not Elegant. His main goal is to capture Ciel's soul. Sebastian considers money to be "garbage" and a "materialist." He is fluent in French and Latin, enough to teach the latter. He also speaks German and East Franconian, a dialect in southern Germany. Moreover, he deeply adores cats and once hid at least thirteen in his wardrobe so that Ciel would not find out.

Biography: Sebastian's real home is in an alternate world that is very different from the human world. In particular, he mentioned that the creatures that are kept there as pets are in no way similar to cats. In addition, Sebastian has existed for quite a long time, and therefore he sometimes reflects that Ciel Fantomhive's life would be a blink in comparison. Sebastian stated that in the past he had "indiscriminately tasted all the available dishes", and since then he has been consuming only "high-quality" souls. As a result, he was apparently starving, but stated that the "dinner" would taste the better the more hungry he was. In January 1886, Sebastian was summoned to Ciel Fantomhive during a cult invocation ritual in the cathedral. By convincing Ciel to sign a contract with him and putting a seal on Ciel's right eye. Ciel ordered him to kill the cultists. Sebastian decided to take on "the role that is best suited to serve the Count." Therefore, he assumed the guise of a butler until Ciel completes his personal mission of revenge — this is the essence of their contract. In return, Sebastian will receive Ciel's soul. Ciel then gave him the name "Sebastian", which used to be the name of his dog, during his service as Ciel's butler. Then Ciel and Sebastian began to live a normal life. He taught Ciel the basics of the earldom, and Ciel, in turn, taught him how to behave as a butler in the house of Fantomhive. Sebastian also learned how to deal with Ciel's spoiled behavior properly; he had to punish Ciel from time to time. Right now Sebastian is, as he says: The "devilishly good butler" serves Ciel, at the Fantomhive Estate.
