Over the many long years, they grew up in hell and ended up going up above on Earth, travelling and discovering humans before they die. During WW2 Sebastian becomes friends with Richard (an immortal) and Francelin (a mole).

When Sebastian and Fynn returned to hell, Fynn ended up the King of hell with Sebastian as his bodyguard and best friend. Sebastian also becomes friends with Devin (a succubus) and Kate (a devil), who later also become Fynn's bodyguards.
