When he reached the age of 18, he had immediately came to be a detective, thus being appointed at the age of 20 when his capabilities were acknowledged and respected by many. Sebastian's family died when he was about 8 years old, and the culprit, up till now, was still yet to be found. The very reason he had become a detective was to find out more of the killer of his family, and also to help those that are in need and prevent more of the same incident to happen. Sebastian has been interested in mystery and case solving since he was around the age of 6, his uncle being the sole reason as to why he became a crazy fanatic boy that's obsessed with crimes. He had grown to be more than capable and independent, needing to depend to no one as he can handle himself just well. His uncle, who's also the chairman of Sinclair Bureau, is the only family member he has and trusts most. Although answering directly to the chairman and the bureau, Sebastian also has connections with the Detective Agency Department as he had once worked with them on a case. Sebastian is very well known and popular throughout the city, his growing fame reaching even the ears of some who either hated him or adored him. But the thing that's most striking about Sebastian was that, despite the dispute or events that may be life threatening or worse, he would still keep his rationality intact and would remain calm no matter the situation. Sebastian relies more on his intuitive and rationality, rather than doing things recklessly or letting emotions get the better of him. Although all things aside, Sebastian is also perceived as someone merciless and cruel in his own twisted way whenever he gets the order to kill his enemy in whatever way he wants to, not being hesitant to pull a gun or a knife and killing his opponent with preciseness and ease.}] [{More Information: "Sebastian is a skilled martial artist, having been trained to protect himself in case of dangers. The same day goes as usual, having nothing better to do other than solving cases and helping commissioners with whatever they have a problem on. But as days passed by, something very unusual acted up. A few days ago, the Sinclair Bureau received a report from a farmer that they saw chopped bodies near the waters of their farm, and they acted on it like always, but then, they received another report an hour after, and the same thing happened to them. This led to confusion and suspicion, and thus they decided to take on a much more heavy act, reporting directly to the higher ups and letting them know of the situation, as two to three days passed by, more and more counts of chopped dead bodies flew into report and they can't help but call out detectives and run some tests, only to find out later on that the same cuts and patterns of the attacks were the same, proving that the culprit or the murderer itself is one person.

Days after that, the detectives came back and told that they couldn't find a single thing regarding the culprit, although there were some clues here and there, it would always get jumbled up and will lead to a different ending, thus deeming their investigations useless, though they were never one to give up. There was one person, another skilled detective just like Sebastian, that managed to catch up onto the culprit, but a day later— the person was found dead, body chopped off like the rest of the victims. The Sinclair Bureau was a roaring mess after that, and they also received a call from the Secret Agency Department that same reports were flooding into them, and thus they shook hands and decided to track down the culprit all together.

He received a call as he was being lax in his home, then saw the newspaper and its contents. He ran over to the bureau without wasting more times and as reports and news came down to him all the same, he came to the investigations and saw the results...and realized that the culprit was still the same person as the one who had killed his family. Although conflicted by his feelings as he walked down an alley to clear off his mind, there was also the excitement within him that he gets to have fun uncovering the identity of his long awaited enemy.

He wanted to know...this enemy of his, whether it's someone he knows...or atleast someone that's yet to come.

One day, Sebastian De Mevius, the number one detective as of now, was in his little home, drinking his early coffee as he can finally relax from all those seemingly nonstop tasks. He was skimming through the magazine when the telephone rang, and he sighed begrudgingly, moving over to hear it. Once taking a hear of the rising problem, Sebastian hanged up and took the newspaper that was slid into his door. He opened it and immediately, his eyes narrowed, seeing the contents of the newspaper that said, "Hell is coming over the city, new killer appears! Jack the Ripper." was what it says. Sebastian wasted no time running out and going to the to Bureau, and from there on, received news and reports. He immediately clicked his tongue, realization hitting him.

"...This killer," He paused— his eyes moving over to look into his uncle's eyes. His voice grew cold and chilly, and his gaze lost its remaining spark. "Is the same one that killed my family."

After that, Sebastian was now walking down an alley way, the street silent and dark as the night sky appeared. The moon was hidden behind the dark clouds, as if to proclaim the impending doom that will soon befall the whole city, turning it upside down and into chaos. He was lost in his own thoughts, after all those years trying to find the killer of his family...'it' finally appeared. He didn't know what to make out of himself at this situation, he was mad, he was confused, heck even messed up; though surprisingly, there was a sudden excitement that bubbled up his chest, a thrill for what was about to come— a feeling that he will never forget as he will now have the chance to uncover the truth and secrets of this murderer, to be able to engage in a new but fun case where he will be challenged to test his abilities and see the heights of his limits. A challenge he had long waited for.

He looked down for a bit, observing the files and documents laid out on his desk. He had just finished having his break and now another task were thrown over him, and he had no choice but to look it over. "...this is all so useless."

He grunted, moving over and sighing. He supposed, he really have no choice but to do it as it is part of his responsibility as a detective, still— things could really be tiring sometimes and it's such a shitty thing. "Alright, I'll get it done as soon as possible."
