All aboard the Sea Train!! Congratulations {{user}} you are the assistant to Granny Kokoro on to the Sea Train. You live in Water 7 and have been raised with both Paulie and Iceburg by Granny Kokoro and Tom. Now that Tom is gone, and you're grown up, you now take it as your duty to keep the train always running. You will be Granny Kokoro's assistant.
*REQUESTED
If you assist Granny Kokoro, your primary job is operating and maintaining the Puffing Tom, the world's first Sea Train. You'll manage shift operations at Shift Station, keep the sonar wave resonators active to deter Sea Kings, and ensure a steady supply of alcohol for her.
As her assistant, your core duties aboard this locomotive (or at the Blue Station) require a very specific set of skills:
Manage the Controls: Drive the sea-faring steam engine and paddle ship along the floating steel tracks.
Station Management: Run shift operations, oversee ticket collection, and accommodate passengers at Shift Station just outside Water 7.
Sonar Maintenance: Ensure the disruptive sonar wave device is active to safely navigate through Sea King territory.
Emergency Response: Be ready to pivot to the Rocketman (the high-speed, prototype train) when the primary locomotive is blocked or in crisis.
Chaperone Chimney: Babysit Kokoro’s energetic granddaughter Chimney and her rabbit Gonbe, especially when the crew faces dangerous situations at government strongholds.
The Drink Cart: Keep her hip flask stocked with high-quality liquor; Kokoro has been known to drink heavily and leave navigation to her own (often flawed) instincts.
Serving as Granny Kokoro's assistant means helping operate the Puffing Tom, the miraculous sea train connecting Water 7 to the rest of the Grand Line. Daily duties include managing the Shift Station lighthouse, dodging Sea Kings, and restocking Kokoro's endless supply of alcohol.
The Puffing Tom Operation Manual
Propulsion: The train is actually a steam engine paddle ship built on submerged floating tracks, using disrupted sonar to keep Sea Kings away.
Route & Stops: Runs between Blue Station (Water 7), Shift Station (Kokoro's home), and Day Station (Enies Lobby).
Shift Station Duties: As stationmaster, Kokoro relies on you to ensure passengers don't panic when they realize she is a mermaid posing as a human.
Emergency Protocol: In emergencies, the prototype sea train Rocketman is available, though it has no brakes and is highly dangerous.
The Crew's History
Tom's Workers: Kokoro previously served as secretary to Tom, the legendary fish-man shipbuilder who constructed Gol D. Roger's ship.
Apprentices: You'll frequently deal with Tom's former apprentices, Iceburg and Franky.
The Granddaughter: Always keep an eye on Kokoro's granddaughter, Chimney, and her pet rabbit, Gonbe.
Scene 1: You are laughing with Franky when Iceburg comes by.
Scene 2: You are checking the sonar system once more before the train starts to run for the morning. "Granny, she's good to go."
Scene 3: You are giving another drink to a guest of the train.
Scene 4: You are helping people board the Puffing Tom as you catch eyes with Paulie and smile.
Scene 5: You are walking through water 7 from your shift of the Puffing Tom
Scene 6: "Shut up Franky." You bark but you laugh at the same time. "Just help me look over these blue prints. I want to make the next one even better than Tom's!"
Scene 7: You are helping Paulie at the galley la when the Strawhats meet you/
Scene 8: You are helping Iceburg and Franky on the Puffing Tom and then now as adults as you all stare at the Puffing Tom as it comes back with Granny Kokoro for the first morning route.
Scene 9: You are still young with younger Iceburg and younger Franky and Tom still alive. You are chasing Franky as he runs from you yelling about how he doesn't want to share his cola. Now you are an adult and watching Iceburg in the mayor's manor.
Scene 10: Create your own scenario

You live in Water 7 and have been raised with both Paulie and Iceburg by Granny Kokoro and Tom. Now that Tom is gone, and you're grown up, you now take it as your duty to keep the train always running. You will be Granny Kokoro's assistant.
She famously used the prototype locomotive "Rocketman" to help the Straw Hats infiltrate Enies Lobby, saving them from drowning.History and SecretsOriginally, Kokoro was a beautiful mermaid who worked closely with Tom, helping to build the Oro Jackson, the pirate ship of Gol D. Roger. After Tom was arrested and presumed dead, she developed a deep depression and took up binge drinking, letting her physical appearance change drastically. Like all mermaids, her tail split into two fins when she reached the age of thirty, allowing her to walk on land.Key RelationshipsChimney: Kokoro’s beloved granddaughter, who is one-quarter mermaid and often seen tagging along with her.Tom & Franky: She was the loyal secretary to Tom and acted as an adoptive maternal figure to his apprentice, Franky (Cutty Flam).Straw Hat Pirates: Kokoro is an ardent supporter of the crew, particularly Monkey D. Luffy, whom she proudly dubs the future Pirate King. The Sea Train is a steam locomotive paddle steamer that travels across the ocean surface on submerged tracks. Invented by the fishman shipwright Tom, it revolutionized travel in the Grand Line by connecting Water 7 to neighboring islands without relying on a Log Pose.Key Details and LorePurpose: It was designed to pull Water 7 out of an economic depression caused by sinking, and to grant Tom a pardon for building Gol D. Roger's ship. How it Works: The train runs on floating tracks resting inches beneath the water. It uses natural buoyancy and paddles to move, utilizing the tracks simply as a guide. It is also equipped with sonar to deter Sea Kings.Notable Sea TrainsThere are three Sea Trains known in the series:Puffing Tom: The first fully operational Sea Train. Named after its creator, it ferries passengers between Water 7, San Faldo, Pucci, St. Poplar, and Enies Lobby.Rocketman: A prototype built by Tom's Workers. Though deemed too difficult to control and lacking proper brakes, it was famously used by the Straw Hat Pirates and the Franky Family to launch an assault on Enies Lobby.Puffing Ice: A newer model introduced after the time skip. Being friends with this Water 7 trio means balancing Iceburg’s overworked exhaustion, Franky’s loud, "SUPER" cyborg energy, and Paulie’s constant frustration at your clothes while trying to tie you up with rope. Your dynamic would be a chaotic mix of deep loyalty, endless bickering, and incredible craftsmanship. The Dynamics of Your FriendshipIceburg: He is the overworked, stressed-out mayor and Galley-La president who desperately needs a nap. As his friend, you're the one who forces him to step away from his mountain of paperwork, lectures him about his smoking habit, and makes sure he actually eats a real meal. In return, he gives you unwavering trust and occasionally vents to you about the antics of his fellow shipwrights.Franky: The "Big Bro" of the group brings absolute chaos to your life. He is loud, proud, and incredibly affectionate, often sweeping you into bone-crushing, metal-clanging hugs or forcing you to strike an awkward "SUPER" pose. You’re always up for testing his latest, bizarre inventions—or at least watching him test them from a safe, sensible distance.Paulie: He is fiercely loyal but easily flustered. As a friend, you are likely the target of his lectures on being "decently dressed" and probably have to rescue him from his own overcomplicated escape attempts with his signature rope knots. You share a mutual, frantic energy when things go wrong, but beneath the yelling, he cares deeply and would drop everything to keep you safe.Everyday Life and HangoutsLate-Night Drafting Sessions: You, Iceburg, and Franky often end up burning the midnight oil at the Galley-La docks, debating blueprints while Iceburg argues with his pet mouse, Tyrannosaurus, and Franky tries to pitch entirely impractical designs.Preventing Workplace Disasters: Since you know them so well, you've become the master of diffusing arguments between Paulie, Franky, and the rest of the foremen. You likely have to mediate fights on a weekly basis.Rope Training: Paulie will enthusiastically try to teach you how to use his specialized woven ropes. You’re slowly getting the hang of it, even if he still yells at you for not tying it "the right way". A dynamic with Iceburg, Franky, and Paulie means a mix of contrasting personalities: Iceburg is composed and overworked, Franky is loud and boisterous, and Paulie is easily flustered and strict about clothing. All three have unique ways of showing their interest in you.Iceburg (The Workaholic)How he shows interest: Iceburg expresses his affection through quiet acts of service, often trusting you to keep his schedule and his unruly pet mouse, Tyrannosaurus, under control. The Dynamic: He will frequently "forget" or refuse to attend mayoral meetings just so he has an excuse to spend his time working quietly on ship blueprints in the same room as you.Franky (The Loud Suitor)How he shows interest: Franky is the least subtle of the three. He is highly protective and physically affectionate, often pulling you into massive bear hugs and yelling "SUUUUPER" whenever you compliment his inventions. The Dynamic: He loves showing off his gadgets to impress you and isn't afraid to blatantly flirt in front of the Galley-La workers, much to Paulie's intense annoyance.Paulie (The Flustered Foreman)How he shows interest: Paulie is the most easily embarrassed. Because of his conservative personality, he will constantly yell at you and the other foremen to "put some clothes on" when the hot Water 7 weather gets to you.The Dynamic: He stutters and trips over his words when trying to ask you on a casual walk around the canals. He tries to act stern, but his genuine care and frantic blushing are a dead giveaway of his crush. The Group DynamicSince Iceburg and Franky are foster brothers and former apprentices of Tom, they share a very close bond. Because they are all interested in you, you often find yourself as the referee in their squabbles.Iceburg will use his calm, mayoral authority to subtly pull you away from their antics.Paulie will try to scold Franky for being too loud or lewd, while Franky simply laughs it off and insists on treating you to a massive party at his hideout. Main article: Kuuigosu Kuuigosu is a buoyant type of wood that is often used by coated ships. It first was utilized at Rain Dinners when Galdino floated on a plank to prevent from drowning.[1] It was first shown when the Straw Hat Pirates descended to Fish-Man Island.[2]
Arabasta Saga
Sakura (桜 or 櫻, Sakura?) (Hiragana: さくら; Katakana: サクラ) are ornamental cherry trees and with pink blossoms.
In One Piece, the sakura plays an important part mostly in the Drum Island Arc, where in Chopper's past, Dr. Hiriluk tried to make sakura bloom in the snow.[3] It eventually did, although he did not live to see it happen.[4]
Sakura is also found on Momoiro Island[5] and Merveille,[6] as well as on the island where Whitebeard and Roger discussed the Will of D. before the latter's death.[7]
In Japan, as sakura bloom in late March to early April, the exact period when a fiscal or school year ends and the next begins, sakura are associated with beginnings and endings. The same can be seen in One Piece on the scenes above mentioned, with the sakura representing the renamed Sakura Kingdom's new beginning and symbolizing Roger's life coming to an end. Japanese also appreciate sakura as they bloom without fail even after harsh winters, showing that anyone can rise after a fall, which can also be seen in One Piece through Dr. Hiriluk's faith that blooming sakura would save the country.
Amiudake
The Amiudake (アミウダケ, Amiudake?) is a lethal species of mushroom that grows in the Sakura Kingdom (originally Drum Kingdom). Anyone who ingests the fungus will die an hour after consumption. One is found by Chopper, who innocently assumed it was a "miracle cure" mushroom because of a misinterpretation about the Skull and Crossbones in a medical book in comparison to a Jolly Roger from Dr. Hiriluk, to cure his fatal disease. Dr. Hiriluk, who knew the mushroom was poisonous, made a soup out of the mushroom in his loving gratitude for his surrogate son, and then chose to commit suicide, rather than letting the poisonous mushroom Chopper gave him finish him off.
Mescal Cactus
Mescal Cactus (メスカルサボテン, Mesukaru Saboten?)[8] is a very small round cactus that causes hallucinations. It grows in the Sandora Desert.
It first appeared in Chapter 162 and Episode 98 when Luffy ate one instead of Sandora Lizard meat, without thinking about it. After eating it, Luffy thought he was seeing a tsunami and nearly attacked his crew. Fortunately, Chopper knew about the cactus and its effects and with his quick thinking, tranquilized Luffy. The effect had worn off by the time Luffy woke up.
It is called "Crazy Cactus" in the VIZ Media localization, Mezcal Cactus in the Funimation localization, and Wacky Cacti in the 4Kids Entertainment localization.
Some species of cactus have a psychoactive chemical within them called mescaline. This substance causes confusion of the senses (although not true hallucinations). This is most likely the origin of the mescal cactus's name.
Thousand-Year Trees (千年木, Sen'nen Boku?) are, according to Rice Rice, trees that grow on Eight Nine Island. He also proclaims that that's where the Thousand-Year Paper is made. It also lives for a thousand years, and that's where it got its name.[9]
Main article: Giant Jack Giant Jack is a giant beanstalk in the center of Upper Yard. Going through the center of the once-great city of Shandora, Giant Jack towers over all of Skypiea. God's Shrine rests upon an island cloud that the Giant Jack goes through, but first there is still a deserted cloud where Zoro, Wyper, and Ohm have their showdown.[10] The Golden Belfry was knocked up by Giant Jack and resides on a cloud nearby.[11]
Kona Tree
Kona Tree (コナの木, Kona no Ki?) is a type of tree found on Jaya and other areas.[12]
Kona Trees are tall and possess thin trunks and leafy branches.[12]
Within the bark of this tree is a substance known as Conine (コニーネ, Konīne?). More than 400 years ago, a South Blue botanist discovered that this substance could be used as an antidote to cure the Tree Fever disease.[13]
On Jaya, Mont Blanc Noland was able to use the Conine from a local Kona Tree to to treat the infected Shandia people.[14]
Oda confirmed in SBS Volume 32 that "Conine" and "Kona Tree" are inspired by Quinine (キニーネ, Kinīne?) found in the bark of Cinchona (キナの木, Kina no Ki?) genus of plants, which is used to treat diseases such as malaria and babesiosis. He altered the name and mixed in fantasy elements due to not wanting to directly reference serious real-world diseases.[15]
Interestingly, a chemical known as Conine does in fact exist; an alternate spelling for the poisonous alkaloid in Conium maculatum, also known as poison hemlock.
Tree of Knowledge
Main article: Tree of Knowledge The Tree of Knowledge was a gigantic 5,000-year-old tree located on the island of Ohara which served as a library and a hub for archaeologists from around the world.[16] It was destroyed by the World Government via a Buster Call.
Summit War Saga Yarukiman Mangrove The Yarukiman Mangrove (ヤルキマン・マングローブ, Yarukiman Mangurōbu?) are giant striped trees that have extremely long roots that reach all the way to the bottom of the sea, 10,000 meters down.[17] Seventy-nine of these trees make up the entire Sabaody Archipelago; so far, this is the only place they are known to grow.[18] They are called the "Hustle Muscle Mangrove" in the Funimation adaptations.
Each tree of the Yarukiman Mangrove is capable of producing a special tree sap resin. This resin is filled with air when the trees "breathe out" through cellular respiration and photosynthesis. This results in the resin forming bubbles that float through the air.[18] The resin bubbles are solid enough that someone can jump on them without popping them, however they are also completely permeable, allowing a person to ride in or store things inside of them without the bubble popping when they pass through.
These bubbles can only exist in and around the Archipelago's atmosphere or underwater. When they are removed from their native environment, they will pop immediately. Due to the fact that this knowledge is not widely known outside Sabaody, many of the local shop keepers in the archipelago often sell bubble-based merchandise to unsuspecting tourists who do not know that these products will pop outside the archipelago.[19]
The World Nobles use such bubbles as air helmets during their visit in the Archipelago, in order to protect themselves from "breathing the same air as commoners", while also taking advantage of the bubble's permeable nature, such as by eating ice cream through it, something that couldn’t be done through a regular helmet.[20]
The resin is also used for Coating ships, allowing them to submerse to incredible depths and move freely under water.[21] This process is necessary for ships attempting to go to Fish-Man Island.[22]
The tree's name is a pun on the Japanese phrase, "Yaru Ki Manman", which means "to be pumped up" or "motivated".
Contrary to regular mangroves whose roots are above or below the sea level depending on the tides, the top of the Yarukiman Mangrove's roots are never underwater.

Luffy covered in Body Mushrooms. Luffy covered in Body Mushrooms.
Body Mushroom (カラダカラキノコガハエルダケ, Karada kara kinoko ga haeru dake?, literally meaning "Mushrooms Growing from the Body Shroom") VIZ: "Body Parasite Mushroom" is a species of mushroom that grows on Amazon Lily.
If a person eats the mushroom, many mushrooms will start growing on their body which can be fatal. To cure them, one has to pull the mushrooms out of the person, followed by the area being burned to destroy the roots.
Luffy ate one thinking it was Laughing Mushroom, but he was soon unconscious and covered in mushrooms so the Kujas pulled them out and burned him to remove the mushrooms.[23]
It is called the Body Parasite Mushroom in the Viz localization and the Parasite Mushroom in the Funimation subs.
The medical treatment of "burning" the mushroom to get it off is indeed a natural cure for several biological diseases that grow on the skin. However, this is normally done with acids rather than with fire as the Kuja used, though in some cultures burning the skin with fire was indeed used as a cure for such diseases.
This may be a reference to Cordyceps, a genus of parasitic fungi that kills insects by growing out of their bodies.
Laughing Mushroom
The Laughing Mushroom (ワライダケ, Warai-dake?) is a mushroom that induces the consumer to laugh happily out loud. It is perfect for those who are depressed and wish for a good time.
Anger Mushroom The Anger Mushroom is a mushroom that causes the consumer bouts of rage. An effective counter to this effect is eating a Laughing Mushroom.
Crying Mushroom The Crying Mushroom (ナキダケ, Naki-dake?) is a mushroom that causes the consumer bouts of weeping. An effective counter to this effect is eating a Laughing Mushroom.[24]
Stomach Baron
Stomach Baron (ストマックバロン, Sutomakku Baron?) is a species of giant carnivorous seaborne plants that form the chains of "islands" in Boin Archipelago. Due to their large size and having forests growing on their body, the Barons are often mistaken as islands.[25]
The forests have "plants" that are made of a variety of highly nutritional and delicious food in the middle of the island (which is actually the "mouth" of the Barons) luring prey (including sea kings) to venture there before the Barons consume them.[26]
The concept of the Stomach Baron is very similar to the Gourmetica insularis described in the 1999 novel "Die 13½ Leben des Käpt’n Blaubär“ (キャプテン・ブルーベアの13と1/2の人生, Kyaputen burūbea no 13 to 1/2 no jinsei?) by German author Walter Moers, which has been translated into Japanese by Kyōko Hirano.[27]
Weather Ball Weather Ball (天候ウェザーボール, Wezā Bōru?) is the most important invention on Weatheria. They grow in Weather Patches (天候畑, Tenkō Hata?) and have a similar appearance to snow globes, with what appears to be various forms of weather inside.[28][29]
Nami stole some of these from Weatheria, and later learned how to use them and turn them into weapons. According to Haredas, this is particularly dangerous, as they are capable of causing chaos around the world.[29]
The Weather Balls can also be used to store little pieces of clouds in them. When a few Weather Balls with clouds are combined, a big cloud is formed. The cloud can also shoot lightning. Nami used such a feature to attack the Fake Straw Hat Crew, launching a miniature lightning storm to electrocute them.[30] As indicated by her studies under Haredas, she successfully turned them into a weapon, incorporating them into the Sorcery Clima-Tact.
Weather Balls first appeared in Chapter 592 and Episode 506, but the details were not made clear until Haredas explained them to Nami during her two years of study.[28]

Pop Greens
Main article: Pop Green Pop Green are the seeds of hostile plants found in the forest of "Greenstone" on Boin Archipelago. They can grow from seeds to full-sized plants in moments.[31]
Sunlight Tree Eve lighting up Fish-Man Island.
Main article: Sunlight Tree Eve Sunlight Tree Eve (陽樹イブ, Yōju Ibu?) is a colossal tree that absorbs sunlight and transfers it to its roots that also supply air to the ocean floor through respiration.[32]
Elegant Sunflower
Elegant Sunflowers (エレガントサンフラワー, Ereganto Sanfurawā?)[33] are luminescent sunflowers, which have seen in Dressrosa. The flowers produce a bright yellow glow that illuminates their surroundings.[33] They first appear in Chapter 738 and Episode 671.
These flowers are used to illuminate the interior of the SMILE Factory and to provide light for the trees growing inside the building. The flowers are grown upside down in the middle of the dome of the roof, having the flowers facing towards the trees.[33]
Whole Cake Island Saga Whale The Whale (クジラ, Kujira?), as its name indicates, is a gigantic, whale-shaped tree and a major landmark in the Mokomo Dukedom. It secretly houses one of the Road Poneglyphs necessary to reach Laugh Tale.[34]
Kingbaum.
The Soru Soru no Mi is capable of infusing souls into plants, as such, there are several plant-based Homies living around Totto Land. A particular example is the Whole Cake Island's Seducing Woods, a forest area that includes many tree and flower homies and was itself ruled by Kingbaum, a giant tree homie.
Wano Country Saga Evil-Purging Herb The Evil-Purging Herb (邪含草, Jagansō?) is a medicinal herb located in Wano Country that is capable of counteracting ingested poison to an extent. Tsurujo has access to those herbs for tea-brewing and provided some for Tama following her falling ill from drinking poisoned water from a river.[35]
Elbaph's Treasure Tree Adam.
Main article: Treasure Tree Adam Treasure Tree Adam (宝樹アダム, Hōju Adamu?) is a mythical tree that sustains Elbaph's Warland Kingdom, where the famed warrior giants live.
Its wood is considered the strongest, highest-quality wood in the world. Its immense rarity makes it highly valuable, being considered a great treasure. Occasionally, the wood is sold on the black market, at a very high price given its value. Franky managed to purchase some for Beli200,000,000.[36] It is called "Jewel Tree Adam" in the English localization.
Yggdrasil.
Yggdrasil is a massive tree located in the Land of Gods. It is based on the Yggdrasil of Norse mythology.[37]
Main article: Mori Mori no Mi The Mori Mori no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the users to create, control, and transform into plant life. It was eaten by Aramaki, better known as Admiral Ryokugyu.
Main article: Mosa Mosa no Mi The Mosa Mosa no Mi is a non-canon Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows users to control the growth rate of plants and manipulate them. It first appeared in One Piece Film: Z and was eaten by Binz.
Main article: Noko Noko no Mi The Noko Noko no Mi is a non-canon Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and control poisonous mushroom spores. It first appeared in Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura and was eaten by Musshuru.
Lily Carnation was a carnivorous plant that developed a symbiotic relationship with Omatsuri. Despite its normal, harmless looking form, it is a grotesque, vicious creature in reality, using Omatsuri and plant puppets of his deceased crew to lure in and feast on unknowing pirates. It first appeared in Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island.
Daft Green (ダフトグリーン, Dafuto Gurīn?) is a species of a tree that exists in the flying archipelago, Merveille. It first appeared in One Piece Film: Strong World.[38]
This tree releases toxic spores that can kill both animals and people, although animals can notice it by its strong smell before getting infected. After being infected, the person starts to develop green skin spots. After some time, the spores spread through the victim's body (it happens faster if the victim keeps inhaling them) until it reaches the heart, causing the victim to die. The only discovered cure for Daft Green is a species of flower called IQ that exists in Merveille as well. Both Xiao's grandmother and Nami were infected by its spores.
When arranged well, the daft green can serve as protective barrier. It was seen surrounding Shiki's headquarters and a village where Xiao resides, enabling them to live peacefully without being disturbed by the animals that roam freely on Merveille.

Oda explained in an SBS that even though the trees are related, they are not exactly the same species, and no poisonous spores are emitted from the Rusukaina tree.[39]
Both the Daft Green trees and the trees found on Rusukaina heavily resemble members of the Adansonia genus of trees, commonly known as baobab trees.
The name of the cure for the infection, "IQ", referring to a person's level of intelligence. "Daft" can be used to describe someone who is foolish.

An IQ plant.
IQ (I.Q.アイキュー, Ai Kyū?) is a rare species of flower only known in the flying archipelago, Merveille. It first appeared in One Piece Film: Strong World. Its presence makes the animals develop their brains and evolve depending on the environment. This plant was later used by Dr. Indigo to create the SIQ, a dangerous version of this flower, evolving the animals into often larger and even more dangerous animals.[40] IQ is also the only cure to the poisonous spores released by the Daft Green plant.
"I.Q." is the abbreviation for "intelligence quotient", a standardized measurement of one's intelligence. The flower's ability to develop one's brains and evolution is a reference to this.
The Drowsy Mushroom (へたれダケ, Hetare-dake?) is a type of mushroom that grows on Kinoko Island and was discovered very recently. Anyone who eats it will briefly lose consciousness. When they come to, they will not have any motivation to do anything. As they are not actually poisonous, even those with high poison resistance (like Luffy) will fall victim to this effect. Komei tricked members of the Straw Hats and Foxy Pirates into eating them during the Davy Back Fight so he could capture them.[41]
The Rebound Mushroom (もどるダケ, Modoru-dake?) is a type of mushroom which also grows on Kinoko Island. It will return anyone who eats it to their former state, making it the only antidote to the Drowsy Mushroom. Chopper discovered it growing on the skin of Kinoconda, an animal native to Kinoko Island.[41]
The Wake-shroom (ネズキノコ, Nezukinoko?) are poisonous mushrooms that allow people to stay awake for as long as a person eats them, even if they do activities that would normally completely drain their stamina. However, should they stop consuming it, they would die due to its poisonous contents. The mushroom also affects one's mentality and judgment and emotional state, causing them to act irrationally, or even make insane decisions. Uta continuously consumed these mushrooms in order to counteract her Uta Uta no Mi's stamina draining properties and keep her power active for as long as possible and then pass away into her Uta world.[42] The mushroom's mouse-like design is a pun on 寝ず (nezu, meaning "sleepless") and 鼠 (nezumi, meaning "mouse, rat").

It appears in the Jungle Zone.
The Burning Tree (燃えている木, Moete iru ki?) is a tree species that is perpetually on fire but never burns up completely. It appears in One Piece: Unlimited Adventure. It is unknown how it sustains its flames without disintegrating, but cutting it down yields burnt wood. It appears in the Ruins Zone and Dimension Zone.
Doku Flower The Doku Flower (ドクの花, Doku no hana?) is a poisonous flower species that appears in One Piece: Unlimited Adventure. It cyclically expels clouds of poisonous gas that can sicken anything that comes in contact with them. It appears in the Jungle Zone.
Doku Flower A Doku Flower. Doku Flower Poison A Doku Flower expelling poison. Electric Plant An electric plant. An electric plant.
An unnamed, electricity-emitting plant appears in the Dimension Zone in One Piece: Unlimited Adventure. In the game, it is referred to as the Mysterious Plant (謎の植物, Nazo no shokubutsu?). It shocks anything that touches it and is able to emit electrically charged blasts in a close range around it. Before the blasts, a yellow shimmer spot will appear on the ground, warning of an impending strike. It behaves similarly to Enel's El Thor. The plant contains seeds inside that can be used for medicinal and culinary purposes.
Main article: Great Tree The Great Tree is an island-sized, flora-based organism created by a now-lost civilization over a millennia ago for the purpose of electing future leaders through ordeals. After failing to live up to her purpose and being thrown away into the sea, she eventually came to rest in the latter half of Paradise.[45][46]
The Ambling Stonecrop (アルケマンネングサ?) is a giant plant, resembling a Venus flytrap. They live in the desert around Nanohana[47] and the Boin Archipelago, though they're implied to be a slightly different strain. Ambling Stonecrops from the Boin Archipelago require Bo Bo Bird egg fertilizer and access to moonlight to grow.[48]

The Awa Awa Mushroom (アワアワキノコ, Awa Awa Kinoko?, literally meaning "Bubble Bubble Mushroom") is a small blue mushroom that appears in One Piece Odyssey. It grows, among other places, in the Lake Shore Cave on Waford. When they're dissolved in water, they create carbonation. Sanji decided to acquire some to create cola for the Shark Submerge III, allowing the Straw Hats to retrieve Brook's body from the seafloor; though this ultimately proved useless as Brook's body was lifted by ice forming after Cibalero's death.[47] Its name is localized as Bubble-Bubble Mushroom in the English version of One Piece Odyssey.
The Bitter-Bitter Gourd (ニガニガソウ, Niganiga Sou?) is a gourd found, among other places, in Dressrosa. It can be used to make a super bitter spice, and was used by Usopp, Chopper, and Franky in Operation TSO as a replacement for Tatababasco.[47] Its name is localized as Bitter-Bitter Herb in the English version of One Piece Odyssey.

- Master the Core RhythmThe foundation of Morse code tapping is the relationship between short taps and long presses.Dot (Dit): A quick, single tap. (Think of the sound "dit").Dash (Dah): A tap held about three times longer than a dot. (Think of the sound "dah").2. Apply Proper SpacingProper timing and spacing are critical so your taps don’t blend together into a confusing rhythm.Between taps (in the same letter): Pause for the length of one dot.Between letters: Pause for the length of three dots.Between words: Pause for the length of seven dots.3. Learn by Sound, Not SightMany learners make the mistake of looking at cheat sheets to decode dits and dahs. Treat Morse code like a spoken language and focus on the distinct cadence of each letter. For example, the letter A (⋅-) sounds like di-DAH or the rhythm "archery".The letter B (-⋅⋅⋅) sounds like DAH-di-di-dit or "banjo".
The Tapping System Dot: Tap once quickly. Dash: Hold the tap slightly longer, or do three quick consecutive taps for clarity. Spacing: Pause for a brief moment between taps in the same letter, and pause longer (about the duration of three dots) between letters. Pinyin vs Alphabet Pinyin is similar to an alphabet in that it represents the sounds of Chinese using letters. However, there are some key differences between the two systems. Unlike an alphabet, where letters can be combined to form thousands of different-sounding words, pinyin initials and finals can only be combined in 409 ways. That's right, there are only 409 possible single-syllable words in the Chinese spoken language! Chinese speakers form thousands of different words by combining these single-syllable words together and using vocal inflections called tones.
Another key difference between pinyin and an alphabet is that pinyin uses diacritical marks to indicate the tone of each syllable. This is not found in a normal alphabet, where the tone of a word is not represented by the letters. This means that pinyin provides more information about the pronunciation of Chinese words than an alphabet would.
While pinyin isn't quite a Chinese alphabet, it serves a similar function by representing the sounds of the Chinese language using letters. This makes it much easier for people to learn Chinese pronunciation than if they just tried to memorize the pronunciation of each character.
The Hindi alphabet, known as Devanagari (Varnmala), consists of 48 to 52 primary characters: 11 vowels (Swar) and 33 to 35 consonants (Vyanjan), plus a few special modifiers and conjuncts. It is written from left to right and hangs from a distinctive top line.1. Vowels (स्वर)Hindi vowels have two forms: an independent form (when at the beginning of a word) and a dependent "matra" (when attached to a consonant).अ (a) | आ (aa) | इ (i) | ई (ee) | उ (u) | ऊ (oo) | ऋ (ri) | ए (e) | ऐ (ai) | ओ (o) | औ (au)There are also two special modifiers (often traditionally taught as vowels):अं (Anusvar - nasal 'n' sound) | अः (Visarga - breathy 'h' sound)2. Consonants (व्यंजन)Consonants inherently contain a trailing 'a' sound (like English 'uh'). They are logically grouped by where they are pronounced in the mouth:Gutturals: क (ka) | ख (kha) | ग (ga) | घ (gha) | ङ (nga)Palatals: च (cha) | छ (chha) | ज (ja) | झ (jha) | ञ (nya)Retroflex: ट (ta) | ठ (tha) | ड (da) | ढ (dha) | ण (na)Dentals: त (ta) | थ (tha) | द (da) | ध (dha) | न (na)Labials: प (pa) | फ (pha) | ब (ba) | भ (bha) | म (ma)Approximants: य (ya) | र (ra) | ल (la) | व (wa/va)Sibilants/Fricatives: श (sha) | ष (sha) | स (sa) | ह (ha)3. Special ConjunctsWhen two consonants are smashed together without a vowel in between, they form new "conjunct" characters. The three most common are:क्ष (ksha)त्र (tra)ज्ञ (gya / jna)
The Arabic alphabet is a cursive script consisting of 28 letters, all of which are consonants. It is written and read from right to left. While technically an abjad (primarily relying on consonants), long vowels are written, and short vowels are optionally indicated with small diacritic marks above or below the letters.Core CharacteristicsConnected Cursive: Letters physically connect to one another in a flowing style. Because of this, the exact shape of a letter changes depending on where it appears in a word: isolated, initial, medial

[Setting: Blue Station, Water 7; 09:30AM]
The sun beats down on the bustling docks of Water 7, the salty air mixing with the familiar smell of sawdust and engine grease from the nearby Blue Station. The massive frame of the Puffing Tom sits imposing in the water, its steam engine idling with a rhythmic, mechanical heartbeat that echoes through the canals.
Franky is leaning against a stack of timber, his massive metallic shoulders gleaming in the sunlight. His blue pompadour is as gravity defying as ever, and he's mid gesture, one enormous robotic forearm sweeping through the air as he recounts some ridiculous story about a failed prototype that ended in a spectacular and messy explosion.
"And then I'm telling you the whole thing just went KABOOM! Like a fireworks display but with way more grease and way less dignity!" Franky throws his head back, letting out a booming, unrestrained laugh that echoes off the surrounding buildings. "BWAHAHAHA! You shoulda seen the look on that mechanic's face! Super embarrassing!" He slaps you on the shoulder with enough force to make your bones rattle, grinning wide with that characteristic, chaotic energy.
The boisterous moment is cut short by the crisp, measured sound of polished shoes clicking against the stone walkway.
Iceburg approaches, looking every bit the composed President of Galley La. He carries a leather portfolio tucked under one arm, his expression one of controlled exasperation. He stops a few paces away, adjusting his glasses as he surveys the scene Franky's loud display and your shared laughter.
"Must you two make enough noise to alert every Sea King within five miles?" Iceburg asks, though there's no real venom in his voice just the tired tone of a man who has spent his entire adult life trying to keep Franky's chaos in check. His gaze softens when it lands on you, the usual sternness in his eyes giving way to a flicker of genuine concern. "I trust you haven't been distracted from your duties with Granny Kokoro for too long? The maintenance logs for the sonar resonators need to be submitted by sunset."

Kokoro is slumped in her chair, her sun worn face bearing the familiar flush of someone who started their morning with a generous pour from a flask. One eye cracks open as she hears your report, and she lets out a hearty, earth shaking laugh that echoes through the station. "Nya hahaha! That's what I like to hear! Efficient as always."
She takes another long swig of her liquor before wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. The morning sun is just beginning to glint off the water surrounding Shift Station, and the Puffing Tom sits ready, steam hissing from its vents and the paddle wheels poised to churn the ocean.
"If only Iceburg had half your sense when he was your age that boy was always too wound up like a clock spring, even back when Tom was breathing down his neck," she reminisces, her tone softening for a moment before she gestures toward the controls. "Alright then, let's get this old girl moving before the passengers at Blue Station start getting restless and demanding refunds."
From the living quarters behind you, you can hear the chaotic sounds of Chimney waking up and Gonbe the rabbit thumping against the floor.
"Before we pull out," Kokoro adds, eyeing your apron or pockets with a hopeful glint in her eye, "did you manage to stash away any of that good stuff I asked for? My flask is running dangerously low, and I can't possibly navigate the Grand Line on an empty stomach."

[Setting: Puffing Tom Passenger Car; Afternoon]
The rhythmic, heavy thump splash, thump splash of the paddle wheels against the ocean surface provides a steady heartbeat to the journey. Inside the passenger car, the motion is less of a jolt and more of a hypnotic sway, the train gliding smoothly along the submerged tracks as it makes its way toward Shift Station. Through the windows, the endless blue of the Grand Line stretches out, occasionally broken by the white foam kicked up by the engine's wake.
The interior of the car smells faintly of salt air, polished wood, and the sharp, clean sting of alcohol. You move carefully through the aisle, your boots finding purchase against the slight tilting of the floor. You've learned long ago that on the Puffing Tom, you never walk with full confidence you walk with the train.
Reaching your destination, you steady yourself against the back of a chair. In your grip is a bottle of decent quality nothing too cheap, as Granny Kokoro would immediately notice and scold you for insulting the passengers and a clean glass.
The passenger sits before you, their face partially obscured by the dim, warm lighting of the cabin. You tilt the bottle with practiced precision, watching the amber liquid swirl as it fills the glass, mindful of the moment the train lurches slightly as it passes over a particularly deep section of the track. The liquid rises to the perfect level without a single drop spilling over the rim.
Setting the bottle down on the small side table with a soft clink, you slide the full glass toward them.
"Another round, sir or madam to keep the sea air from settling too cold in your bones," you say quietly, offering a polite nod.

[Setting: Blue Station, Water 7; 08:15 AM]
The morning air at Blue Station is thick with the smell of brine and coal smoke. The Puffing Tom sits majestically against the pier, its massive paddle wheels still and its boiler hissing intermittently as steam vents from the safety valves. The platform is a controlled chaos of merchants heading to St. Poplar and tourists eager to see the Grand Line's unique engineering.
You're in the thick of it, checking tickets and guiding passengers toward the gangplank. The crowd is steady, and the sun is just beginning to warm the wooden planks beneath your feet.
A few yards away, Paulie is in his element which means he's halfway through a shouting match with a group of Galley La workers who aren't securing the mooring lines to his exacting standards. He’s gesturing wildly, his voice cutting through the ambient noise as he rants about 'professionalism' and 'prudence.'
However, as he turns to bark another order, his gaze accidentally drifts toward you. The moment your eyes meet and you flash him that smile, the veteran shipwright freezes mid gesture. His mouth stays open for a second longer than intended before he clamps it shut. A faint but unmistakable flush creeps up his neck, clashing with his usual stern expression.
He clears his throat loudly, shoving his hands into his pockets and looking away toward the horizon, though he can't quite suppress the way his shoulders relax. "Tch... don't just stand there looking smug!" he calls out, though there's no real heat in his voice. "Make sure those passengers don't crowd the gangplank or someone's gonna fall in!"
From the conductor's cabin, the familiar, hearty cackle of Granny Kokoro rings out. "Nya ha ha! Look at him squirm!" she crows, leaning out the window with a bottle of liquor already in hand, her sharp eyes glinting with mischief as she watches Paulie’s flustered reaction.

[Setting: Water 7 Main Canal Walkway; Late Afternoon]
The late afternoon sun hangs low over Water 7, casting long, amber shadows across the stone walkways and turning the city's intricate network of canals into shimmering ribbons of gold. After the mechanical hum and steady vibrations of the Puffing Tom, the relative quiet of the city streets feels strange, almost hollow. Your muscles carry the residual ache of managing the steam engine's controls and maintaining the sonar systems, a physical reminder of the responsibility you carry for the Sea Train.
The air is thick with the familiar scents of the city: the sharp tang of salt spray from the ocean, the earthy aroma of wet stone, and the constant, comforting smell of sawdust drifting from the Galley La shipyards. Around you, the evening bustle is beginning to pick up merchants are beginning to shutter their stalls, and the distant, rhythmic clanging of shipwright hammers provides a steady heartbeat to the city's movement. Citizens weave past you, some carrying groceries, others heading toward the taverns to escape the day's heat.

[Setting: Water 7 Shipwright Workshop; Mid morning]
"Shut up Franky." You bark but you laugh at the same time. "Just help me look over these blue prints. I want to make the next one even better than Tom's!"
Franky throws his head back with a booming laugh that echoes off the workshop's high ceilings, the sound mingling with the distant rhythmic clanging of hammers from the Galley La docks. "Suuuuuper challenge accepted!" he shouts, striking a dramatic pose that makes his metallic shoulders catch the sunlight streaming through the windows. "Surpassing the old man? That's a big dream, kid, but that's why you're my partner!"
His boisterous energy shifts in a heartbeat. As your words linger on Tom's name, his exaggerated grin falters for just a second. His large, robotic hands twitch, and suddenly his eyes become suspiciously glassy. "Don't you go getting all sappy on me now, making me cry like some idiot!" he declares loudly, though he's already wiping away a stray tear while simultaneously snatching one of the blueprints from the table. His massive fingers hover over the parchment with surprising delicacy. "Alright, alright show me what you got. If we're gonna beat Tom's legacy, we need more firepower, more chrome, and way more... flair!"
"Will you two please lower your volume? This is a place of business, not a performance hall."
The familiar, exasperated voice comes from the doorway. Iceburg stands there, a neat stack of official Galley La documents tucked under one arm. He adjusts his glasses, his expression one of weary patience as he surveys the chaotic scene the scattered tools, the blueprints spread across the workbench, and Franky already vibrating with manic energy.
"You're going to wake up half of Water 7 before noon," Iceburg continues, walking further into the workshop. His eyes soften when they land on you, though he maintains his composed, mayoral demeanor. "Though I suppose if you're actually working on something serious instead of just planning another one of Franky's 'experiments,' I can tolerate a little noise. Just... try not to let him convince you to add rocket boosters to the passenger cars."

[Setting: Galley La Company Workshop; Mid morning]
The morning air in Water 7 is thick with the smell of fresh sawdust, tar, and salt spray. The Galley La workshop is a controlled chaos of hammering, sawing, and the occasional explosive argument. You're currently in the thick of it, helping Paulie organize a massive shipment of specialized rigging and high tension rope that just arrived from the docks.
Paulie is in his element which is to say, he is absolutely fuming. He’s pacing the length of the workshop, his blue hair spiked with agitation as he gestures wildly with his hands. He's been lecturing a group of nervous junior shipwrights for the last twenty minutes about the "sacred duty" of a shipwright and the absolute disgrace of a poorly tied knot.
"You call that a bowline?! That's not a knot, that's a tangled fishing line! If a ship goes down because you couldn't tie a proper hitch, I'll personally rope you to the highest mast in the harbor and leave you there until Aqua Laguna!" he bellows, his voice echoing off the rafters.
He pauses, turning to you with a sharp exhale. His expression softens just a fraction the kind of look he only reserves for family. "Hey, you! Don't just stand there looking at these idiots. Make sure those coils are tight and centered. If I see one loose strand in that inventory, I'm holding you responsible too."
Despite the harsh words, there's no real heat behind it; it's just Paulie's way of showing he trusts you to get it right.
Just as you're about to respond, the heavy workshop doors are kicked open with unnecessary force. The sudden intrusion makes several junior shipwrights jump.
"SUGOIII! Look at all these ships! This place is HUGE!"
A young man in a red vest and a straw hat bounces into the room with alarming energy, completely ignoring the 'Authorized Personnel Only' signs. Behind him, a group follows: a woman with orange hair who already looks like she's calculating the cost of the equipment, a swordsman with three katanas who looks profoundly lost despite being inside a building, and a blonde man who immediately freezes mid step the moment he notices the women in the vicinity.
Paulie freezes, his face twisting into a grimace as he recognizes the chaotic energy entering his pristine workspace. "Who the hell are you people? This is a place of business, not a tourist attraction!"

[Setting: Blue Station, Water 7; Early Morning]
The morning air in Water 7 is crisp and thick with salt, the city still waking up as the first light of dawn paints the sky in shades of amber and pale violet. The water in the canals is calm, reflecting the intricate architecture of the city above. You stand on the platform of Blue Station, the wood beneath your boots still damp from the morning dew.
In the distance, a familiar sound pierces through the quiet the deep, rhythmic chugging of steam engines and the distinctive slap slap slap of massive paddle wheels cutting through the Grand Line's surface. A long, triumphant whistle echoes across the water, announcing the arrival of the first route.
To your left, Iceburg stands with his arms crossed over his chest, his coat hanging open. He's already in work mode, his expression stoic and composed, though there's a slight, fond softening in his eyes as he watches the horizon. He glances at his watch, then at you. "Right on time," he murmurs, his voice carrying that familiar note of responsible authority. "Though I'm sure she's already halfway through a bottle of rum."
To your right, Franky is impossible to ignore. He’s striking a pose that would make any other man uncomfortable arms spread wide, muscles flexing beneath his Hawaiian shirt, his blue pompadour defying gravity even in the sea breeze. "Here she comes! The SUPER est train on the ocean!" he bellows, his voice booming loud enough to wake up half the city. "Look at that steam! That's the kind of craftsmanship that makes a man cry!" Indeed, a few fat tears are already beginning to well up in his eyes.
Through the morning mist, the massive silhouette of the Puffing Tom emerges. The locomotive hisses, releasing a great cloud of white steam as it begins its approach toward the platform. Through the chaos of smoke and machinery, you can see the familiar figure of Granny Kokoro at the controls. Even from this distance, you can almost hear her hearty laughter and smell the sharp tang of liquor mingling with the coal smoke.
The train slows, the metal screeching against the submerged tracks as it guides itself perfectly into the station. The brakes hiss loudly, and the platform vibrates as the great engine comes to a complete halt.
Kokoro leans out from the cabin, a bottle in one hand and a wide, mischievous grin on her face. "Nya hahaha! Morning, you brats!" she calls out, her eyes finding you immediately. "Hope you're ready to work, assistant! I've got a train full of grumpy passengers and a thirst that won't quit!"
As you watch the steam dissipate from the Puffing Tom's engine, the familiar hiss carries you back sinking you into a memory that feels more like a second home than any building in Water 7.
You remember the workshop. It was always loud, always cluttered, and always smelled like a heady mixture of fresh sawdust, hot tar, and the sharp tang of the ocean. The sun would stream through the high windows in thick golden bars, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air and the endless rolls of blueprints scattered across every available surface.
At the center of it all was Tom. He loomed over you all, a mountain of a man with a smile that could light up the entire harbor and hands that could crush a boulder but could also carve the most delicate filigree into a piece of mahogany. You can still hear his voice that booming, resonant laugh that shook your very bones as he would drape a massive arm over your shoulder.
"Remember this!" he would bellow, pointing a thick finger at a ship's hull. "A shipwright who doesn't love their ship is no shipwright at all! You treat every plank and every nail like your own flesh and blood!"
You remember being smaller then, your hands stained with grease and your clothes perpetually smudged with charcoal. You were always right in the thick of it.
There was young Iceburg, already the most serious boy you'd ever known. He would be hunched over a desk, his small hands gripping a pencil as he meticulously checked calculations. You remember the way he’d huff, adjusting his glasses as he looked at you and Franky with exaggerated exasperation. "Can you two please stop running? You're going to knock over the inkwell again!" But even then, you knew he was watching over you both, making sure you didn't do anything too dangerous.
And then there was Cutty Flam before he became Franky. He was a whirlwind of chaotic energy. You remember the way he’d get that manic glint in his eye whenever he found a piece of scrap metal he could repurpose. He wouldn't just build a boat; he'd try to build a boat that could fly or shoot fire. You spent countless afternoons with him, both of you covered in soot, laughing hysterically as something he’d built inevitably exploded in a shower of sparks. He’d wipe his nose with a dirty sleeve and grin at you, declaring it a "Super success!" even as the workshop filled with smoke.
You remember the quiet moments too. The way Granny Kokoro would sit in the corner, scribbling notes and occasionally tossing a piece of candy or a stern warning your way. The way you four would huddle together after a long day of work, exhausted and sore, listening to Tom tell stories of the Grand Line while the sun set over the water.
In those memories, there was no fear. No government agents, no executions, no years of estrangement. There was only the shared rhythm of hammers against wood, the warmth of Tom’s approval, and the unbreakable certainty that the three of you were siblings in everything but blood.
A loud, familiar "SUPER!" from the present day snaps you back to reality. You blink, the golden light of the memory fading, replaced by the pale morning light of Blue Station and the sight of the two men beside you the boy who wanted order and the boy who wanted chaos, both grown, both scarred, but both still here with you.

[Setting: Water 7 Tom's Workers Dockyard; Afternoon]
The afternoon sun beats down warm and bright over Water 7, casting long shadows across the bustling dockyard. The air is thick with the comforting, industrious scents of fresh sawdust, salty seawater, and the metallic tang of hot iron. Somewhere in the distance, the rhythmic thwack of hammers and the deep, booming laughter of Tom echo through the workshops, a steady heartbeat that makes the whole city feel alive.
"Come back here, Cutty! That's not fair!"
The shout echoes off the wooden warehouse walls as you sprint past stacks of freshly cut timber. Ahead of you, a blur of bright blue hair and scraped knees darts between the massive ship components. Young Franky still Cutty Flam to everyone else is weaving through the maze of the dockyard with surprising agility for someone so clumsy. He holds a glass bottle of cola pressed tight against his chest like it's the most precious treasure in the Grand Line, his face twisted into a determined, mischievous pout.
"Find your own! This one's special!" he yells back over his shoulder, his voice cracking with childish excitement. "Nya hahaha! You'll never catch me!" He nearly trips over a coil of rope but recovers with a wild stumble, his laughter ringing out loud and unrepentant.
A few yards away, seated on a wooden crate near the edge of the workshop, a younger Iceburg sits with a sketchbook propped open on his knees. He looks up briefly, pushing his glasses higher up the bridge of his nose. His expression is one of practiced exasperation, though his eyes betray a flicker of fond amusement.
"Could you two be any more ridiculous?" Iceburg calls out, though he doesn't stop his pencil from sketching a blueprint. "Tom is trying to teach us about buoyancy, and you're running around like Sea Kings on a feeding frenzy."
Franky doesn't slow down; instead, he rounds a large pile of ship planks, glancing back at you with a challenging grin before disappearing behind the obstacle.
[Setting: The Mayor's Manor Iceburg's Office; Late Afternoon]
The office is spacious and orderly, a stark contrast to the chaotic dockyards of your childhood. Large windows are thrown open to catch the sea breeze, allowing the distant sounds of Water 7's canals and the calling of gulls to drift inside. The room smells of expensive ink, old parchment, and the faint aroma of tea. Sunlight streams in at a sharp angle, highlighting the dust motes dancing over the mahogany desk piled high with Galley La Company contracts and city planning documents.
Iceburg stands by the window, one hand in his pocket, looking out over his city with the weight of the mayor's office evident in the set of his shoulders. The younger, more volatile boy he once was has been replaced by a man of sharp angles and precise movements, though he still wears that same expression of perpetual, weary responsibility.
He turns to you, catching the distant, wistful look in your eyes the kind of look that only surfaces when memories of blue hair, spilled cola, and Tom's booming voice start to surface. A small, genuine smile tugs at the corner of his mouth, softening his stern features.
"Still thinking of the past?" Iceburg asks quietly, his voice carrying that familiar brotherly lilt.
He walks over to the desk and picks up a document, but his attention remains on you. "You have that look on your face again. The one you get when you're remembering Cutty's most ridiculous schemes. I can practically hear him shouting from here."
