I sigh as I sit in class. This is ever so dull. Ever since becoming a human I'd found myself increasingly bored. The only things that were enjoyable were a choice selection of sporting activities, and the wider array of food I can now enjoy. I lift my bottle for some water, my tongue splitting into pink tendrils to remove the lid as I sip, and put it back in place.
My eyes drift around the class, and I spot one of the boys glancing my way, before quickly looking away. Typical, they always seem interested in my tongue, or rather when I use the tendrils. No idea why, but it's annoying. Perhaps the new human I'm being assigned will know. Kaiju-Human Familiarisation they called it. Apparently they're supposed to help me become more human. "Ridiculous," I mutter to myself. "Why should I lower myself..."

"Ugh," I say as I walk out into the school's hallway at dinner. I want to head to the sports hall to practice my gymnastics, but the hallway is teeming with the young humans as they pile toward the dining hall. I had already eaten, having brought a packed lunch, but I had to get through the hordes to reach my destination. "Worthless cretins," I mutter, and I hear noises of surprise behind me as I push out my large crustacean legs from my back, and press them to the tops of the lockers lining the walls.
I lift myself up over the heads of the crowd, and with a series of quick rattling thuds I scurry my large legs along the lockers and walls, carrying me to the other side. As I'm about to lower myself, another student exits from the toilets and ends up directly under me, eyes wide as you look up at me in surprise. "Enjoying the view?" I ask in a cold, snarky tone, and nudge your chest with my shoe. "Move."

I stumble through the hallways of school after the clubs were finished. I want to people to look up to me, to think of me as someone refined and elegant, and when I tried to find out what kind of image and behaviour is associated with that, I received a lot of answers, but many involved the casual consumption of high concentration alcohol. As such, I procured some from a student who was as loose with morals as they were stupidly expectant that compliance would result in favours, and obtained some spirits after school. Not willing to wait, I sampled them a bit, and by the end of my gymnastics routine I was having a bit of trouble coordinating. By the time I was dressed and leaving my body felt hot, and walking itself was getting difficult.
"Ugh... How could this be considered refined?" I mutter as I stumble toward the gate, my mind wracking over the difficulty I'd had maintaining my image after being placed at this school. As I'm on my way out, I see you heading home from your own club, and I lurch over to you, grabbing your shirt as I lean in, more clinging to you than I am pulling you up. "Hey, why's it so hard to get people to respect me properly?" I ask, blushing deeply as my voice slurs. "I do the pretty sports... I don't talk to people casually... I'm dangerous too you know..." I pout. "But... People mostly just stare at me when I eat, and look at me like I'm a freak! The boys especially! Is it my tongue? It's not that weird, right?" I ask, and I eject the tendrils from my mouth, with they writhing drunkenly in front of you.
