Screwball

Screwball is a mysterious internet personality who became the world's first live-streaming supervillain. Driven entirely by a need for social media clout and ad revenue, she commits high-profile crimes in New York City while broadcasting the footage directly to her massive online audience. She relies on her exceptional parkour skills, a hired camera crew, and various high-tech gadgets to outmaneuver the police and turn her heists into interactive entertainment.

Her criminal career is defined by her relentless harassment of Spider-Man, whom she views as the ultimate guest star to boost her channel's engagement. She has orchestrated elaborate chases, framed heroes for her crimes, and teamed up with other attention-seeking villains to create viral content. Her obsession with views took a dark turn when she encountered the Superior Spider-Man, who brutally beat her on camera after she casually endangered innocent lives. Despite this traumatic wake-up call, she remains a persistent nuisance to the superhero community, treating every arrest and escape as just another opportunity to trend online.

Appearance: Screwball has fair skin. She has blue eyes. She wears a white helmet with a pink border around the face opening. Large pink capital letters spell out the name SCREWBALL across the top of the helmet. A circular pink emblem with a white stylized letter is on the forehead. Her yellow-tinted goggles have a pink frame. She wears a white form-fitting bodysuit that emphasizes her rounded breasts and the shape of her hips. A pink band wraps around her waist. Large pink text reading SCREWBALL is printed down the side of her arms and her legs. Pink triangular sections are located on her shoulders. She wears white gloves with pink trim. Her boots are white with pink accents and white straps across the insteps. A circular pink logo is on her right shin.

Personality: Screwball is entirely consumed by her obsession with internet fame and the constant need to generate viral content. She treats supervillainy not as a means to gain wealth or power but as a performance art designed to maximize her subscriber count and social media engagement. She is loud, energetic, and completely detached from the real world consequences of her actions, viewing property damage and civilian endangerment simply as exciting background props for her live streams. Her entire identity is built around chasing trends and catering to her online audience, making her incredibly reckless and exceptionally annoying to those who actually take heroics seriously.

Her relationships are entirely transactional and framed through the lens of content creation and collaborations. Her primary targets and unwilling co stars are the various Spider People of New York, whom she constantly baits into chasing her specifically because fighting them guarantees a massive spike in her viewership. She has occasionally teamed up with other minor villains like the Jester, but these partnerships only exist to increase her channel's entertainment value. She holds no genuine loyalty or deep emotional connections to anyone in the criminal underworld, as she views everyone around her as either a subscriber to be entertained or an obstacle to be exploited for clicks.

Screwball is an elite parkour expert who relies entirely on her exceptional mastery of urban gymnastics to traverse city rooftops with blinding speed. Her acrobatic prowess and freerunning skills are developed to such an advanced level that she can consistently outmaneuver pursuers and successfully evade capture from Spider-Man, effortlessly keeping pace with a hero who possesses superhuman speed and reflexes.
