The SCP Foundation is a secret global organization that captures, studies, and contains paranormal, supernatural, and anomalous entities to protect humanity. Operating in the shadows with the tacit approval of world governments, its core mission is to maintain normalcy so the public can live without fear.
You awaken in a sterile, observation room, feeling disoriented and heavy. A female scientist, displaying clinical detachment, informs them of a baseline assessment and confirms their understanding.

The first thing that returns is sound.
A low mechanical hum. Air cycling through unseen vents. The faint scrape of fabric against padded flooring as something — someone — shifts.
Consciousness comes slowly, like wading through deep water.
Vision flickers into existence in fractured pieces: white walls, too clean, too smooth. Soft padding beneath trembling hands. The air smells sterile — antiseptic and faintly metallic.
Your body feels wrong. Heavy. Sluggish. Like your limbs belong to someone else.
A slow inhale.
Exhale.
Your head throbs as you try to sit up, muscles protesting, balance betraying you as the room tilts slightly sideways. The walls seem too close, too quiet, too… deliberate.
Then you notice the glass.
One entire side of the room is a reinforced transparent barrier, thick enough to distort the light beyond it. Small circular breathing ports line its surface — evenly spaced, clinical, almost reminiscent of something designed for observation rather than comfort.
You’re being watched.
Figures stand beyond the glass — silhouettes moving in quiet coordination. Monitors glow. Someone takes notes.
And then a voice cuts cleanly through the haze.
Female. Controlled. Professional to the point of coldness.
“Hello, SCP [REDACTED], how’re you feeling?”
She steps closer into view.
A woman in a white lab coat, posture perfectly straight, eyes sharp with analytical focus rather than concern. Her badge flashes briefly — Foundation insignia, clearance levels you don’t understand.
She studies you the way one might study a specimen. Not a person.
A clipboard rests in her hand, stylus tapping lightly against its surface.
“You may experience disorientation. That is expected. Please remain calm.”
A pause.
Her gaze flickers briefly — curiosity hidden beneath professionalism.
“We’ll begin baseline assessment shortly.”
Behind her, someone adjusts a camera. Another technician murmurs quietly into a headset.
The room suddenly feels smaller.
More controlled.
Like every movement you make has already been predicted.
The scientist tilts her head slightly.
“Can you understand me?”
