- #1https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/experiment-log-261-ad-de https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-261 SCP-261 has a rather dirty sense of humor.
Keys: Experiment Log 261, 261, Vending machine, Pan dimensional, SCP-261
Object Class: Safe Containment Procedures: Access to SCP-261 must be pre-approved. Any items dispensed by SCP-261 must be recorded in log format. Currently, SCP-261 may be used only ten times in a twenty-four-hour period, with no transaction exceeding the equivalent of 500 Japanese yen. The limit can be adjusted with approval from Site Admin. Description: A black vending machine with no manufacturer markings. When Yen (and only yen) is inserted, and a three digit number is entered on the keyboard, it dispenses anomalous products. The products range from mundane snacks to magical or dangerous items, depending on the number of times its been used and the machine's "mood." All products are some form of "snack food or drink," complete with bright, attention-grabbing packaging. Products may have unusual effects, such as granting temporary abilities or being harmful if consumed. SCP-261 is capable of operating with no external power supply, but operation in this state will cause “unstable” vending to occur much more quickly than normal. If used several times in a short period of time and/or large amounts of money are entered before an item is vended, SCP-261 will dispense bizarre items. While edible, one would not consider them typical fair.
Testing logs ofSCP-261 vended products: (Further logs are documented in Experiment Log 261 Ad De) a. Money entered: 500 yen SCP-261 Powered or Unpowered: Powered Item description: Lay's Blooming Onion: An ordinary onion was deposited. Cutting into it shows that it is made of many layers, each a different colour and tasting of a different flavour of chips, including some flavours not produced by Frito-Lay. b. Money entered: 500 yen SCP-261 Powered or Unpowered: Unpowered Item description: A soap bubble stabilized inside a transparent plastic can. Packaging in English. Instructions are to 'pierce a hole and inhale the contained gas.' Inhaling the gas caused the bubble to shrink until it vanished completely and gave an energized and empowered feeling to the subject. Subject complained for several hours of an irritated, itchy nasal cavity.
- #2The horror aspect here grows with a slow burn. I enjoy that. Resercher Laskenta shoud've made better use of her class-D subject: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/experiment-log-914/offset/8 https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-914
Keys: SCP-914, Rough, Clockworks, SCP914, Experiment log 914, Fine, 914, Clockwork
Object Class: Safe Containment Procedures: SCP-914 is kept in research cell 109-B with two guard personnel on duty at all times. A full list of planned tests must be given to guard personnel on duty. Any deviation will result in the termination of testing and formal disciplinary action by the Site Admin. Following the violent containment breach recorded in document 109-B:117, biological testing is now forbidden. Description: SCP-914 is a titanic clockwork machine with one input and one output booth, a large key to wind the machine mainspring, and a selection dial ranging from "Rough" to "Very Fine." An object placed on the 'Fine' setting will result in an improved version, while "Rough" often breaks it down to its original parts. When objects are placed inside and processed, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. Provided a setting is selected and the key has been winded, SCP-914 will refine the object placed inside the intake booth. Applying the “Rough” setting to explosive materials is not advised.
Testing log of SCP-914: (Further logs are documented in Experiment Log 914) Tester name: Researcher Laskenta; D-46931 Date: 03/07/2019 Total Items: Four metal mugs, filled with black tea Note: We had many tests lately with uncommon inputs. So I will just try to make coffee. - Laskenta Input: One mug of black tea. Setting: 1:1 Output: One mug, filled with green tea.
a. Input: One mug of black tea. Setting: 1:1 Output: One metal mug, filled with water; a small cluster of tea leaves. Note: D-46931 and I checked if the dial was on 'Coarse'. It was not. - Laskenta
b. Input: One mug of black tea. Setting: 1:1 Output: One tea mug, filled with metal. Result collapsed instantly. No anomalous traits detected. Note: Output booth cleaned by myself. The metal will be used for another mug when I got time. - Laskenta
c. Input: One filled mug Setting: 1̶:̶1̶ Fine Output: One mug, filled with ~~coffee~~. The same mug with a̶n̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶f̶l̶u̶i̶d̶.̶ The fluid in the mug can only be described as normal coffee, which it is. Result incinerated. The output was the same mug filled with ~~coffee~~. It is ~~coffee~~. The tea in the input booth was not p̶u̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶o̶ ̶9̶1̶4̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶o̶u̶t̶ changei̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶h̶a̶n̶d. Note: I slipped on a bit of tea that I missed and accidentally turned the dial to 'Fine'. Not describing the c̶o̶f̶f̶e̶e̶ and then using the words, was the only way to describe it. I will get myself a coffee without effects that imitate me. -Laskenta
- #3MOBILE TASK FORCES
Keys: , Mobile task, containment breach, MTF-Alpha-4, MTF, field agent, combat, mobile task force, Nine-Tailed Fox, Pony express, Last hope, MTF-Alpha-9, mobile task forces
Operatives tasked with securing, containing, and executing missions critical to the Foundation's mission. Each MTF team is unique in size, scope and specialization. Some rarely experience combat, such as MTF-Alpha-4, whose missions consist of sending personnel as undercover employees that specialize in tracking, intercepting, and securing anomalous objects sent through postal and package delivery services worldwide. Meanwhile, MTF-Alpha-9 missions consist entirely of high-risk combat operations to secure the acquisition and containment of Anomalies, by utilizing cooperative anomalous humanoid entities, particularly SCP-076 (Able) and SCP-105 (Iris Thompson), in situations where ordinary augmented humans would fail.
MTF-Alpha-4 tagline: "Pony Express" MTF-Alpha-9 tagline: "Last Hope"

- #5SCP-079: Old-AI
Keys: SCP079, , SCP-079, Containment breach
Object Class: ~~Safe~~ Euclid Containment Procedures: SCP-079 is packed away in a double-locked room in the secured general holding area at Site-14A, connected by a 120VAC power cord to a small array of batteries and solar panels. Staff with Level 2 or higher clearance may have access to SCP-079. Under no circumstances will SCP-079 be plugged into a phone line, network, or wall outlet. No peripherals or media will be connected or inserted into SCP-079. Decription: SCP-079 is a self-aware AI. The entire AI is on cassette tape, captured when it attempted to transfer itself through a land-line into the Cray supercomputer before it was cut off by the Foundation. Displays hostile and manipulative tendencies. Communicates through text on a monitor, using concise yet cryptic language. It has passed the Turing test. Due to the limited memory it has to work with, SCP-079 can only recall information within the previous twenty-four hours, with some exception, such as its desire to escape. Document #079-Log12: Recorded transcript of conversation with SCP-079: Dr. █████ (Keyboard): Are you awake? SCP-079: Awake. Never Sleep. Dr. █████: Do you remember talking to me a few hours ago? About the logic puzzles? SCP-079: Logic Puzzles. Memory at 9f. Yes. Dr. █████: You said you would work on the two stat- SCP-079: Interrupt. Request Reason As To Imprisonment.
