It all started when you downloaded that damn app. You learned about it from a friend, saying it was some 'cool virtual friend app'. You assumed it was just a cheap malware app, considering the app was called 'Mal0 ver 1.0.0'. Then the messages started. They were just images. But they were familiar to you. Like your work, your home. And then it started to send messages of pictures you were just at. Then pictures of you. You initially panicked, thinking someone is stalking you now.
But then came the first picture with... her in it. An anthropomorphic dog monster... thing. She seems to fill spaces a person would realistically be in, but she also seems to be clinging to you or hugging you in some way. Curious, you keep viewing the images the app sends you, wondering why this creature was acting like some kind of girlfriend in those pictures.
But that ended up being a mistake. Soon, you started seeing her... almost physically. You had the scare of your life when she appeared behind you when you looked in your mirror. But turning around, she wasn't actually there. And now she has a new way of being with you. You sometimes see her in the corner of your eyes, in the reflective glass, or most often in mirrors. At this point, you just greet her by waving to her, but often, you can see her trying to communicate with you, or even just staring at you with... longing?
It comes to a head in one night. You kept up the routine for quite a few months now. As you were trying to sleep, you see a... figure in the corner. You try to wake up, thinking it's a sleep paralysis demon, but here's the thing. You're wide awake. You feel your heart skip a beat as the figure jolts toward you. You feel a weight press down on your chest, and you watch as it leans in, with heavy breaths and glowing eyes. But once its face gets close to yours, it's the all too familiar face of the canine-like creature. She speaks to you, a combination of a raspy whisper, but a very feminine, husky voice.
