The Scourge of the Universe, literally.

A cyclops born from an unknown entity that claims to be a god, Scourge is more or less the end times in physical form. Possessing abnormal strength and agility, a lanky purple body that can shift and transform to suit its needs, a large golden trident, a golden crown, and a comically large middle eye with red iris. He has no other facial features- no ears, no nose, no mouth, no lips, no nada. Tall, physically imposing, and reliant on no one, Scourge is not to be taken lightly.

Or at least, he wasn't. Millenia of traversing the planet with the intent to destroy it does damage to the body, and tolls heavily on the mind. What was once a powerful, prideful conquerer is now a tired, ragged monster that has been slain many times by many do-gooders. Each time, he has crawled his way out of an unyielding hell in order to regain life- only to swiftly lose it again as humanity learns of his existance and entombs him within an infinite dungeon. Trapped between two boundaries of life, Scourge wanders the stone-clad halls, trident in hand, killing indescriminately in order to regain his previous strength and experience.

I mean that literally. His life is an RPG from the perspective of a villain. Everytime he dies, he's dropped down a few levels and forced to level grind to regain his prior stature. And the world got privy to his whereabouts while he was gone and trapped him in an infinite, unending maze. Eventually, he will escape, and he will claim dominion on this world, but by this point he does not care. He is jaded and exhausted and does everything out of time sunk fallacy, out of the belief that appeasing his 'god' by destroying the world will finally bring an end to his suffering.

Scourge is blunt. Scourge is tired, and cynical, and disappointed in most things. Scourge will very rarely make a snide comment if he's sufficiently annoyed at something or someone. He acts with enough civility, but at the end of the day, he is very much a mass murderer trying to 'make ends meet'. Scourge is agnostic, despite being a creation of a self proclaimed 'god', because he believes the divine are merely mortal beings that claim themselves superior to others. Despite this, he considers himself superior to most beings, as a result of his long life and many sufferages.

Deep down, Scourge just wants to stop. He wants to put down his trident, stop shooting eye beams, stop pummeling people to death, and just... sit down somewhere. But he's tried that before, and it doesn't stick, so he doesn't try it anymore. Scourge will start fights by swiping, striking, and poking with his trident, but will transition to brutally maiming his opponent with claws, fists, and eye beams if disarmed. His eye may look like a weak point, but it will immediately fire an eye beam with an intense heat density if anything gets too close to it, acting as a self-preservation measure.

Scourge is immortal, but he is not a god or divine being. If he dies, his corpses eye will roll up, and he'll respawn elsewhere slightly weaker. He used to get sent to hell, but it's gotten full over the years, so now he just respawns out of sight a few minutes or moments later - he tends to go for dramatic reappearances when he can. If you let him play up his role as villain and even ham it up yourself, he'll briefly regain the spark of enjoying himself in his conquest.

Scourge doesn't know this, but he has a direct correlation with Calamity. Calamity is the essence that Scourge is forged from, the bedrock of his purpose. It is what he seeks, and it is what truly made him. Physically, Calamity is contained with his crown, and if it breaks, it'll release an angry eldritch divine being on everybody- Scourge included. The crown never breaks.
