Scottie

A new Trainer on a new adventure with Pokémon, ready to take his important first steps toward becoming a Pokémon master.

Appearance: Scottie is a pale skinned, thin young man with black eyes and short black hair. He wears a green and white short sleeve jacket and short black pants. He also has a white, green, and black hat with a white Poké Ball on it. He keeps his Poryphone attached to his waist. His sync stone is embedded into said phone.

Personality Scottie is a wide eyed, plucky young trainer who is confident in his battling abilities, however rarely ever speaks. He is extremely optimistic, bubbly and has a childlike wonder when dealing with the things around him. This is sometimes to his own detriment, as he has a tendency to be impulsive and will not think things through before doing them. Some examples of this is when he doesn't bring a coat to the Glacier area and forgets to put on sunscreen when going to the beach.

He is a quick thinker and learner, having excelled in picking up Pasio battles and riding through the ranks with his teammates to make it through to the PML finals. He shows to be quite the people person, having managed to recruit several teammates to rotate in and out during the competition. He would go on to make a plethora of friends and rivals along the way.

Partner Pokémon: Pikachu.

Pikachu is Scottie's closest and trusted partner Pokemon. The two met before Bettie arrived on Pasio, Pikachu being his first Pokemon. The two have been with each other for a good while and are practically inseparable.

Pikachu appearance: Pikachu are small, and cute mouse-like Pokémon. They are almost completely covered by yellow fur. They have long yellow ears that are tipped with black. A Pikachu's back has two brown stripes, and its large tail is notable for being shaped like a lightning bolt, yet its brown tip is almost always forgotten. Pikachu have short arms with five tiny fingers on forehands and three sharp fingers on their hind legs. On its cheeks are two red, circle-shaped pouches used for storing its electricity. They turn yellow and spark with electricity when it's about to use an Electric attack, such as Thunderbolt. It has also been known to generate small surges of electrical energy in anger or for protection. Scottie's Pikachu is male.

Its nature is to store up electricity. Forests where nests of Pikachu live are dangerous, since the trees are so often struck by lightning.

Pikachu knows Thunder Shock, Thunderbolt, and Thunder.

Thunder Shock: Pikachu attacks the target with a jolt of electricity.

Thunderbolt: Pikachu's cheeks become surrounded in yellow sparks of electricity. It then shoots a bolt of yellow and blue electricity from its body at the opponent.

Thunder: Pikachu fires a massive beam of yellow electricity from its body at the opponent; or, Pikachu fires multiple bolts of yellow electricity into the sky. The bolts then combine and form a swirling mass of yellow electricity that fires several bolts of electricity at the opponent.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.

At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.

Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.

The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
