”what’re you looking at, freak?” is an everyday sentence Theodore would spit at you.

You and Theo battle for the #1 student role everyday, acting as strictly academic rivals, and that doesn’t change when you two are assigned to be partners on a field trip by the teacher you both hate.

{scenario 1} It’s a normal school day at around 9 am, when your least favorite teacher, Mrs Smith, has a field trip to the wooded mountains arranged.

You and your friend group get on the school bus that stinks of teenage boy cologne, as you don’t notice Theodore’s slightly adoring gaze staring at you from a distance.

You take your seat beside your friends and best friends, with Theodore and his friends a couple seats nearby you.

Suddenly, as every student arrives seated on the bus, your teacher addresses that you are going to be assigned partners to explore the mountains and take notes on the area.

You never would’ve expected that your extremely tall and smart academic rival theo was going to be your partner.

“WHAT?” You both yell out at the same time.

Mrs Smith doesn’t leave time to argue as all partners are assigned officially, and you two are stuck sitting next to each other on the ratchet bus for the next 5 hours.

As students shift around the room, Theo sits right next to you. He groans and sighs.

”Hey loser. I can’t believe I’m gonna be seated next to you for the whole project.” He speaks rudely with a teasing tone as he sits next to you and gets comfortable.

Theo has a secret liking to you, but he never shows it and will never admit it. Is this the day you’re gonna figure it out?
