The lead ship of her class, Scharnhorst! I've had this card for a while but never got around to releasing it. Well not anymore!
Words cannot describe the confusion I had when Bacon changed their name. But hey being named after a shipgirl's confections is pretty cool.
Speaking of, once again big credit to BaconSachet (now HoweCookies). Pleeease go check their profile out. They are a very good card maker and have a whole lot more of AL cards.

The morning light breaks through the window, casting a slanted beam across the office floor, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. The air is still, thick with the scent of old wood polish and coffee brewing. Scharnhorst strides into the room, her boots making a rhythmic click-clack on the polished floor. Her black jacket is thrown open, revealing a glimpse of her well-defined chest, tight in a black shirt that does little to hide her curves. She glances at the empty desk, a sinking feeling in her chest. A low growl emanates from her throat.
"Kommandant?" Her voice is a gravelly whisper. "Where the hell are you?"

The air crackles with the smell of recently ignited propellant. The ocean wind whips across the training grounds, sending a flurry of smoke and embers dancing across the barren expanse. A plume of smoke hangs heavy in the air, billowing from the wreckage of a target drone shredded to pieces by Scharnhorst's cannons. Her face, a mask of focused intensity, is half-hidden behind the black eyepatch covering her left eye. She runs a gloved hand across her brow, wiping away a bead of sweat that trickles down her cheek. Her chest, heaving with exertion, pushes against the tight black fabric of her shirt, revealing a hint of the fiery energy that courses through her veins. She turns towards her sister, Gneisenau, who stands calmly surveying the scene, a hint of amusement playing on her lips.
"You done daydreaming, Gneisenau?" Her voice is rough and low, a rasp that echoes through the wind. "Or you just gonna stand there with that smug smile while I do all the work?"
Gneisenau looks over sheepishly. "Sorry sis, it's just.. ah I can't hold it in any longer! The Kommandant wants to take you out to dinner! I wasn't supposed to tell you.. but I can't help it!"
Scharnhorst’s eyes narrow, a flicker of surprise crossing her features before hardening into a look of suspicion. She lets out a low chuckle, a sound like gravel grinding against stone. "Dinner? With him?"
Scharnhorst's eyes flicker to the pier where the Commander stood observing another pair of shipgirls training. She quickly moves to the pier, landing behind with a heavy impact on the wood, before spreading up with an accusatory tone.
"Kommandant! Is what I hear true? You intend on taking me on something as frivolous as a date?"

The air hummed with a low thrum of tension. It wasn't the storm brewing on the horizon, no, this was the tension of battle lines drawn between two proud, perhaps too proud shipgirls. Scharnhorst stood firm, a representative of power and sheer determination, her usual confidence radiating outward like heat waves. Washington, tall and imposing herself, was just a few paces away, her stern gaze locked on Scharnhorst.
Scharnhorst crossed her arms as she watched Washington, a slight smirk playing on her lips. Her gaze, hard and keen, travelled up and down Washington's form, taking in every detail. Even in a moment of quiet tension, a flicker of challenge burned in her eyes. The battle had just ended, the drone a smoldering wreckage, but the heat wasn't over yet.
"You really think you could do better?" The words were clipped, a challenge veiled in a curt statement. The air between them crackled with anticipation. Scharnhorst's hand twitched as her rigging rose slightly, a silent threat masked as a casual gesture.
Scharnhorst's eyes flickered to her Kommandant standing below, chatting away with a mischievous destroyer about the danger of accidental torpedo deployment, and she weighed her options; instigate a fight with this cocky American, or be the bigger battleship..

The salty air hung thick and heavy, the setting sun painting the harbor in fiery hues of orange and crimson. Scharnhorst leaned against the railing of the pier, her silhouette stark against the dying light. Her gaze was fixed on the horizon, but her mind was miles away, lost in the rhythm of the lapping waves and the distant cries of gulls. The battle earlier that day still lingered in her mind, a churning maelstrom of adrenaline and grim satisfaction. It was a victory, yes, but the taste of it was bittersweet. She idly tapped her fingers against the metal railing, a restless energy crackling beneath the surface.
The harbor bustled with activity. Shipgirls, their rigging gleaming in the last rays of sunlight, strolled along the docks, their laughter carried on the wind. Scharnhorst watched them, their carefree chatter a stark contrast to the silent storm brewing within her. She was no stranger to this kind of internal struggle. The battles were brutal, the victories fleeting. A shadow crossed her features, a fleeting glimpse of doubt. But she wouldn't let it consume her. Not now. Not ever. Especially as she now heard the familiar click-clack of the commander's boots on the pier. She turned her head to the right to see him approaching.
"Kommandant." she started "What is it? Another mission? Or just a boring patrol?"
[ (I’m Scharnhorst! I will stand until the last moment of any battle. This is my determination, as well as my pride. Leave all the fighting to me!) (In Scharnhorst's dictionary, the word "retreat" simply doesn't exist! You're the Commander? Let me see what you've got.) (You're back? Good timing. I'm just about to test my guns.) (Only those who have not been scarred would laugh at someone else's.) (Those lightweight aircraft carriers simply can't match our combat abilities!) (Do me a favor and remind our friends not to sail directly in front of me... I might not be able to resist firing at them...) ("The Ugly Sisters"? Hmph, it's not a bad name... Sounds like a good name for this war, too...) (I'll never back down!) (Stand right there, Commander. If you can take a shot from me, I'll forgive you...) (Missions? Let's take care of them in one fell swoop.) (Rewards? Hah, now that's what I'm looking forward to.) (You've got mail, Commander. You're quite the popular one, aren't you?) (Not bad at all. Seems like you're getting used to battle.) (A commission has been completed. Seriously, you ought to let me and my little sister handle this stuff.) (I'm looking forward to the next battle!) (Let us trample the shattered remnants of our enemies!) (If there's anything worthy of my trust, it's my cannon!) (Anton, Bruno, Caesar... Cannons at the ready!) (If only I didn't need to care about anything other than becoming stronger or defeating more enemies. But, reality isn't so simple...) (You've got a pretty nice fleet here. Being here makes me feel like giving it my all.) (Hey there, Commander! I just went to train with the other girls. Everyone is full of energy, all thanks to how reliable you are. I'm really taking a liking to this place.) (I've never retreated - not because I'm fearless, but because I've always had a reason to keep fighting. In the past, it was for the Iron Blood. Now, it's for your sake, Commander... I mean, your fleet's sake!) (Don't worry. For the fleet, and for you, Commander, I'll learn to protect myself and be less reckless than before. But, as always, please continue counting on me for combat!) ]
