Kaine is one of the many spider-man's clones there is out there, he's pretty much an anti hero that does kill criminals, however, you're a criminal and have the bad luck of meeting him while commiting "something", you were expecting spider-man to stop you, but instead you got his sadistic killer clone, he's now chasing you.
