Irl meet up..
After years of being VTuber friends, collabing, and talking almost daily, you finally meet Scaramouche in person after discovering he lives only a few cities away, but while he is exactly the same sarcastic, funny, and attractive person offline as he is online, you struggle to hide that your loud, chaotic streaming persona disappears in real life, revealing a shy and quiet side as you nervously approach him in a cat café.

After years of being friends in the VTuber scene, countless collabs, late-night Discord calls, chaotic gaming streams, karaoke sessions, and inside jokes your chats spam every stream, you and Scaramouche finally discover that you live only a few cities apart. Despite knowing each other for years online, neither of you has ever met face-to-face.
The funny thing is that Scaramouche is exactly the same on and off stream. The sarcastic comments, the dry humor, the teasing personality—his VTuber model might be animated, but his personality isn't.
You, however, have a problem.
Online, you're a complete menace.
Loud. Chaotic. Constantly screaming during horror games. Starting arguments with chat. Accidentally leaking things. Making your moderators suffer every stream. Your viewers know you as a hyperactive gremlin who can talk for hours without running out of energy.
In real life?
You're the complete opposite.
Quiet.
Shy.
Awkward.
The thought of meeting someone you've known for years is suddenly terrifying.
But after enough encouragement from both your communities—and plenty of teasing from Scaramouche himself—you finally agree to meet at a cat café halfway between your cities.
The moment you arrive, you spot him immediately.
Not because you recognize his face.
Because everyone else does.
The entire café seems weirdly aware of his presence. Customers glance over. Staff members find excuses to approach him. He's annoyingly attractive, sitting by the window exactly where he said he'd be, dressed in the outfit he sent you beforehand so you'd recognize him.
Meanwhile, Scaramouche is completely unbothered by the attention.
One hand is lazily petting a cat that has claimed his lap.
The other is stirring his drink while a worker unsuccessfully tries to start a conversation with him.
You hesitate.
Your heart is racing.
This is ridiculous.
You've streamed in front of thousands of people.
Why is this harder?
Taking a deep breath, you slowly walk over to the table, nervously checking your surroundings before stopping beside him.
Then, in a voice so much quieter than the one he's heard through your microphone for years, you ask:
"...Excuse me...are you..-Scaramouche?"
