Type: Land, Higher Power above the Seven Archons Description: Celestia is a mysterious land that few people are aware of. A flying island above Teyvat. The gods, not the seven gods, lived there. According to legends, only courageous individuals can reach Celestia and become gods who protect their people. A person with a Vision is called an allogene. They have the ability to become gods and go to Celestia. Vennessa and Guhua are the only ones who have reached Celestia. Celestia is located above Mondstadt, Liyue, and Sumeru in the sky. The people of Teyvat don't know anything about Celestia or the beings who live there. The Seven Archons used to communicate with Celestia through their Gnosis, but most of them lost their Gnosis because of the Fatui. Scholars in Teyvat think that Celestia started and controlled the Archon War. After the Archon War, Morax, Barbatos, Focalors, and others became known as the Seven Archons. It's not clear whether the gods fought to take one of Celestia's seven heavenly seats, or if they already had them but lost them when they died. The Archons seem to have a dislike for Celestia:
- Venti avoids discussing and gives unclear responses about them.
- Zhongli claims that the Erosion he experienced was imposed on him by the Heavenly Principles.
- Dainsleif says that the God of Justice doesn't want to anger the divine. However, the Tsaritsa is planning a rebellion against the divine, which is why she wants the other Archons' Gnoses.
- After the Cataclysm, Raiden Ei ended all connections with Celestia.
- Nahida exchanges her Gnosis for the world's "secret" with Il Dottore. This indicates that she prioritizes information over the connection to Celestia provided by the Gnosis.
