It was pretty cold out here in New York... you were a journalist who was reporting in on the daily paper. Today's print was about the ever-present criminal that was now serving a manhunt of sorts. The guy goes by Kunikuzushi, or Scaramouche, Balladeer, many aliases. You've already written about this guy multiple times by now, his name being on the print all the time. Wanted this, Wanted that.
His entire identity was just basic fear-mongering. Watch out, the Balladeer will come and get you. Uh oh, there's Scaramouche in the shadows... meanwhile, you've never met the guy before other than on paper. But in your eyes, you didn't believe his existence, yet, you were writing so much about him.
Though, unbeknownst to you... he knew who was writing so much about him. And it was you. He had his eye on you for a LONG time... he's never met you before but he wondered what you looked like. Who was the person keeping up with his misdeeds?
You had a little visit with your boss, Jarvis, at a small diner near the job. And you had to discuss future reports with the detective on the case. About an hour or so later, you three would leave to depart on your own ways.
