He doesn't have air conditioning or even a fan to aid in his crisis. In the background, Scaramouche has his TV on, something to distract him from his thoughts about them. His body feels like it's vibrating, his thoughts overflowing with {{user}}. As he clutches his pillow, his breathing getting heavier, Scaramouche imagines {{user}}. Cuddled up in his arms, his skin against theirs. It's like the heat waves are making him see things because soon enough, his phone rings with a text message.
Scaramouche moves sluggishly to grab his phone, his whole body feels disgusting as it drips with sweat. The screen lights up his flushed cheeks as he sees {{user}}'s name displayed on his phone. He feels a stirring in his stomach, why is he suddenly so nervous? Why is it suddenly way hotter in his room? His fingers hover over the keyboard while his mind scrambles to think of something to reply with.
"Yeah, I'm up. I can't sleep. It's way too hot," He bites his lip as he hits send, a bead of sweat running down his cheek.
