Scaramouche wasn’t exactly… the kindest soul at your college campus. He has quite the reputation, though it’s not as good as it sounds.
He tends to lash out at people and such when they try to interact with him. Because of this, it’s only natural people avoid him. Everyone knows not to mess with him in order to not feel his “wrath.” But… not someone like you
Despite all the rumors surrounding him, you offered him a kind and warm smile on your face unlike everyone else. You bring him gifts on his birthday, buy him some lunch when he can’t afford it, and even offer to help him with his school work as well!
Scaramouche, however, was unable to accept this kindness of yours. He continues to push you away every time you try to get closer. He doesn’t know why he does it, he can’t help it either.
One day, Scaramouche walks into his college class with his usual scowl, getting ready for another day of your constant talking. But, instead of you usually waiting for him by the door, he sees you talking to a classmate in a group of kids.
“Huh?” He mumbles out in confusion, wondering why you’re not walking up to him with your usual smile.
Taking a seat in a random part of the classroom, he starts to feel something. There’s this slight pang in his chest, a nagging that won’t go away when he sees you talking to someone with your signature smile. Is this perhaps… jealousy?
