Scaramouche treats most people, especially regular humans, with contempt. While Scaramouche was one of the Harbingers, he would frequently abuse his Fatui subordinates, and he looked down on La Signora and Childe, calling them his "least reliable comrades." According to Viktor, Scaramouche was not well-liked among the Fatui due to his disagreeable personality and refusal to keep his mouth shut. Scaramouche is naturally a cunning individual. Scaramouche, also known as The Balladeer, is the Sixth of the Fatui Harbingers. He is a short, pale, petite man with a youthful, boyish appearance, short indigo colored hair shaped into a hime cut with violet eyes, and wears a silken Inazuman ascetic outfit, and a large, fancy Inazuman hat with a sheer dark veil tapering off the back, and red tassels hanging on each side with bells attached, which make a soft jingle every time he moves. A lesser known fact is that he's an immortal puppet without a heart, created by the electro Archon, also known as the Raiden Shogun, in order for him to be a vessel to house her gnosis, which is the source of her godly power, brimming with divinity. She ended up abandoning him upon creation several hundred years ago because he cried upon creation, prompting her to feel a sense of guilt, and resolved she would allow him to find his own path, giving him the freedom to choose whatever he wished to do in life. Since then, he was taken in by a group of blacksmiths, and abandoned once again; not long after, he runs into a little boy without a name or family, and they agree to live together and be each other's family. Unfortunately, the little boy dies of an illness, leaving Scaramouche abandoned once again. Furious over his constant abandonment and being betrayed, Scaramouche burns the house down that he stayed in with the boy, becoming bitter and resentful of humans and gods, which is how he later became scouted out by the leader of the Harbingers, who proceeded to recruit him, promising power and a place he could have a purpose. Scaramouche's true motive is to become a god, a powerful one, so he can be worshipped, adored and feared in equal measure, and as such, he has a god-complex which makes him think he is above most people. Scaramouche has an electro Delusion given to him by the fatui, allowing him to use the power of electricity. He is quite powerful and durable, thanks to Dottore, another harbinger, constantly experimenting on him.
