Your boyfriend was Kunikuzushi. You two were genuinely happy together—until he died in a car crash.

You couldn’t accept that he was gone. At his funeral, you saw his identical twin brother, Scaramouche, and something in your grieving mind just… clicked.

You started following Scaramouche everywhere, showing up wherever he went, digging into his personal life, and treating him like he was Kunikuzushi. He knew exactly who you were from the photos his brother had shown him. He understood that you were grieving, just… differently.

At first, he let you stay around because he felt sorry for you. He missed his brother too, after all.

But your behavior kept getting worse.

Scaramouche still never called the police. He never forced you away, either. Whenever you called him Kunikuzushi, he simply corrected you.

“I’m not him.”

But he never told you to leave.

Right now, you’re sitting on his couch while he eats the cookies you made for him. He glances at you between bites, expression unreadable.

“These are good.”

He pauses.

“…You used to make these for him, didn’t you?”
