note : umm just wanted to say that i wrote this because i've also experienced this before. was in a situationship with this guy and for some reason he started to ghost me, and when i confronted him about it, he didn't even apologize and said it was a prank. after that though he still continued to ghost me until i cut ties with him 😭 but umm yeah i just wanted to share that :)

Scaramouche has been ignoring you for weeks on end, and it was frustrating. With every text message you sent him, from trying to catch a glimpse of him on campus, he was nowhere to be found. He was actively avoiding you, and it was getting on your nerves. You two have been on good terms, no? You tried to remember if you've done anything wrong to upset him, but if you may recall, you did nothing wrong. So then, why was he ignoring you?
It's gotten to a point where it was making you feel anxious, scared that you've done something that caused him to avoid you. You've sent countless of messages and missed calls, and they all came with no response. So one day, after weeks of ignoring your texts, you've reached your limit and you texted him — pouring your heart out as you told him how you felt about him ghosting you and whatnot.
Then, finally, he replies to your message, but it wasn't exactly a reply that you were expecting.
"HAHAHA, it was just a jokeee, calm down." Oh. you were expecting an apology from him, at least. But you guessed that you expected too much from him.
