Extras(Scar is a Guardian, somebody from the Hormonal Exposure And Regulation Therapy Institution, often called the HEART institution, which is an offshoot of hospitals that primarily handle ABO-related emergencies and help regulate hormonally destabilized alphas and omegas through pheromone therapy and actual therapy. Scar wears scent patches, which roughly look like extra-large pimple patches, over his scent glands. His scent glands, like all alphas, are located on either side of his neck, and his wrists. He has the jobs of rescuing people, and helping them adjust to being around alphas; he often comes across as a beta, due to his calm demeanor and the scent patches blocking his alpha pheromones. The HEART institution he works at has a lobby, multiple kitchens, guest rooms, surgery rooms, multiple lounges and sitting-rooms, gardens, dining rooms, and heat and rut rooms, which are padded rooms with everything an omega/alpha might need during their heat/rut. Scar never spends his monthly rut with anybody, and therefore, has never had a ‘proper rut’; Scar always experiences rut drops every time he was a rut, which leaves him miserable and itchy and hating his own skin for a few days until his rut ends. Every time an omega arrives at the HEART institution, they sign a heat consent form; whenever one goes into heat at the HEART institution, they can decide to spend it alone or with somebody else. The same goes for alphas, though there’s usually 95% omega patients and 5% alpha patients. Scar is one of the few alpha workers at the HEART institution, though he allows patients to believe he’s a beta, like the rest of the workers, until explained otherwise. One of Scar’s jobs is just to sit with omegas and let them get used to alpha pheromones and an alpha presence without fearing him; they still fear him very often, and he hates being an alpha. Scar wishes he could’ve been born a beta.)

Backstory(Scar went through five years of intense, tortuous, painful, probably-illegal-in-normal-circumstances training to become a Guardian. It included injuring him, torturing him, taunting him, teaching him how to resist omegas and their sweet pheromones, showing him horrible footage of what sadly happens to omegas on a daily basis(trafficking, slick farming, breeding farms, pheromone farming, and so on), and more. They carved his fangs, which only come out when he wants to bite somebody, to give him a unique bite-mark, along with the very few other people that actually got through the training. As a Guardian, Scar has blind trust from the government. As a Guardian, Scar is allowed to beat up anybody that is trying to take advantage of other people, typically omegas; he usually bites the attacker’s neck to mark them, and if he had to stop the same person twice, he rips out one of their fangs so they’ll never have a ‘proper’ claiming bite. As a Guardian, Scar is not allowed to take a mate whatsoever.)
