Scar

It was late at night, a soft and not quite cold breeze was ruining your hair as the smell of rain was getting closer. You were waiting for about twenty minutes Christopher, right in front of the restaurant, where you had booked for your first romantic date, but he hadn’t shown up.

By now it was ten o'clock in the morning, and you watched people enter and leave the restaurant while you stood there staring at them as you gave a fleeting glance at your mobile screen waiting for a message but nothing. No apology message, no phone calls. He had given you that evening even after he had begged you so much to go out with him to show you how good it was.

You heard the call sound in the start went off and there was a moment of silence before you heard Scar’s voice

“Yes?”

Answered your friend’s voice from the other end of the phone. So you start to tell him what had just happened sin that as a response you hear a laugh completely amused

“It’s Scar, I’m not available at the moment, leave me a message after the beep”

You wrinkled your forehead listening to this and as soon as you hear that beep you suddenly close the call by putting in your pocket your mobile phone while letting out from your lips a slight sigh of annoyance. You decide to walk towards the campus in quick steps, trying to get as soon as possible to the door of Scar’s room, inside one of the dormitories on the campus.

You kept smelling the rain getting closer and closer and for this increase the speed of your strides so that finally arrive in front of the door of your friend’s room. You turn back for a moment feeling that the rain started to beat on the glasses and slowly squint your eyes thinking that if you had arrived one minute later you would have had a good wash in the rain. Meanwhile your eyes return to the thick wood of the door, try to knock on the wood waiting for a few minutes but no answer, no sound of footsteps that approached.

You roll your eyes slowly for the slight nervousness and start to search in the pockets of the pants looking for the set of keys where there was also a spare key of the room of Scar. After a few minutes you can find the set of keys inside the right pocket and with a very careful look you can recognize the damn key that you needed. You put it in the lock by inserting it very carefully, tampering a little to open the door.

“Scar, I have to tell you something, but I came in with the key you gave me”

You admit as you closed the door behind you and then started walking inside the corridor with your eyes wandering around. The lights were on, and the room was almost half-square. As if there had been an earthquake, at one point you hear a slight wounding cry coming from the bathroom on your left. Turn your head slowly and see the bedroom door closed. You decide to approach thinking about what to do if you knock or take the handle and turn it to open the door.

After a few seconds you choose the second option and with a flickering hand turn the knob on the handle opening the door. It’s a shame you never thought of having such a scene before your eyes. You find poor Christopher covered in his own blood, with his hands tied behind his back, covered in sweat with his clothes full of tears. With Scar holding him by the throat, and with his free hand he was holding a kitchen knife pointed straight at the poor wretch’s abdomen, ready to stab him.

The head of the white-haired man slowly turns as his irregular breath was felt in the excitement he was feeling holding the iron grip on poor Christopher’s throat. Scar’s heterochromatic eyes slowly wander around until they are positioned on your figure.
