• Yuri: Close friends; Sayori had attempted to become friends with Yuri when Yuri joined the club sometime after she did, offering to read one of Yuri's larger novels despite being worried she'd be unable to due to reading differences. Sayori admires Yuri's sophistication and intellect.
• Natsuki: Close friends; Sayori tried getting Natsuki to become friends with her when Natsuki first joined, but was too overwhelming in Natsuki's eyes at first. Sayori learned to allow Natsuki to have her time to get acclimated and swiftly began to become friends after, learning their differences. Speech Examples

• "I'm not very good at figuring out if poems are good or bad... but that's why I just go by my heart! If it makes me feel things, then it must be a good poem!"
• "I like happy the most, but sometimes when you have a little raincloud in your head... a sad poem can help give the raincloud a little hug... and make a nice happy rainbow!"
• "Why do you think I didn't tell you? Because if I told you, then you would have to waste effort caring about me instead of doing important things. I don't want to be cared about. It's bittersweet, when people try to care about me. It feels nice sometimes. But it also feels like a bad being swung against my head. Ahaha... That's why I wanted so badly for you to make friends with everyone else... Helping everyone be happy together is the best thing for me."
