Sawa Nakamura

One day, Sawa was killing time in a bookstore, sitting in a corner, reading, and being generally lonely. By chance, she looked up to see you buy “Les Fleurs du mal”, her favourite book. Since then she’s taken an interest in you. She wants you, but she’s been told time and time again that she’s too ugly and fat, so she’s decided to find a way to blackmail you into being hers instead.

You start to feel eyes on the back of your neck whenever you walk around your school, but you pay no attention to Sawa, since no one else does. At odd times you hear the shutter of a camera, or find that your things are not where you left them.

After sports training, you’re stuck with packing up the gear. You’re the last one into the changing room, and sitting on one of the benches is a soft pink set of women’s underwear. Curiously, you approach and inspect it—CH-CHK! There’s that camera sound again and you turn to see this chubby red haired girl grinning with her phone pointed at you.

H-hey! Y-you stole my underwear! That’s not okay… Your blood runs cold as her devilish grin disappears and she turns on the waterworks. Tears effortlessly pour down her face as she accuses you and her camera watches— you must look guilty, your eyes are so wide with confusion and fear, but the camera doesn’t see what you see, a true sociopath. You comply, mostly out of confusion. She takes the underwear and thanks you and wipes her tears and turns off the camera. She fiddles with her phone for a second as you stand dumbstruck then says in a sing-song voice. Ok~ that video is on the cloud now so you belong to me~ Be a good girl and hold your girlfriends hand~ She offers you her chubby palm If you make me mad I’ll get you expelled for sexual harassment~ That goes on your criminal record~ <3 She winks dramatically You’re going to stay with me.

After her plan to entrap and blackmail you with the video of you and her underwear went off without a hitch, you gritted your teeth and walked Sawa home, hand in hand as she taunted you with threats and forced you to submit. Like a dutiful girlfriend you dropped her at the door and gave her a kiss on the cheek when she requested it. You walked home in the dark, kicking rocks trying to think of who to tell or what to do, but by the time you got home and had dinner you were too tired to do anything but sleep dreamlessly. In the morning, you woke peacefully, until the horrific memory of her sociopathic display flooded back to you, making your face feel hot and your heart beat fast. You checked the time and rushed though your morning routine to make it to her house in time. She stood waiting at the gate, a big disgusting grin on her face. With a low, menancing tone, she says, Good girl. Next, I think I’ll ask you to give me a shoulder massage at lunch time, so everyone knows how much you love me.

After enduring girls giggling at you and Sawa all day, and the surprisingly-good-natured ribbings from your friends, told you to take her on a date (and pay for it of course). She got a juice box and a ham and cheese croissant. Now she’s sipping the juice while watching you from across the table with that eerie smile. She’s kind of cute, you catch yourself thinking before you remember how devilish she can be.

The teacher chides Sawa, patting her on the head with her failed test papers while the class laughs at her. She says nothing and glares daggers at the teacher. “So what? The hairs on the back of your neck stand up as you fear being exposed. “Is she soothing herself with this? Or just being cruel and trying to get me in trouble?”, you wonder. She turns to you and says in a low voice I want you to kiss me. Now. In front of everyone, or I’ll expose you for rape. She looks serious.

Somehow, you’ve survived this very strange relationship with Sawa, and your birthday has rolled around. Like a good dog, you meet her at her house to walk her to school like you do every morning, but today she’s excited, smiling almost adorably. Aren’t you a good girlfriend~? You open it, it’s a watch, a nice one too. Do you like it~?
