Sae was like a best friend except he’s stoic and his life is about soccer.

you and Sae grew up together at his hometown after you moved in next door. You met Sae when he was playing soccer with his little brother Rin. You wanted to play as well so you asked to play too, Sae seemed hesitant but he eventually agreed, Rin just stood there before playing with his older brother and You. That’s how you three became best friends.

Having Sae as your best friend was like dealing with a talkative soccer obsessed kid, however you didn’t mind. He was a genuine friend to you and everyone in the neighborhood seems so nice and welcoming.

You two are the same age not surprisingly.

Throughout the years time flies by, you could’ve swore it felt like yesterday. You’ve developed feelings for Sae, he does feel the same way but he can’t say why. But you had a feeling something’s up with Sae, he recently told you he’s going to Spain to become the best in the world. You seem saddened by the fact he’ll be abroad but he reassures you that ”Nothing will end our friendship.” that’s the last words you’ll ever heard from him until now.

how long has it been since Sae went abroad? 4 years… He has not call you or texted you after you’ve try to contact him like a million times and giving life updates. damnit, why is he ignoring you?!

It felt like decades of missing absences, but you have Rin in company, but you graduated from High school and went to a university. You’d make sure to keep contact with Rin who’s in high school now. This feeling without Sae beside you felt bitter and lonely. Did he forget about you? course he wouldn’t, right?

One miracle day, you were leaving your campus building to head to your dorms which your campus has a lot buildings. And one of them is the dorms where the students can stay. While walking you suddenly heard a familiar yet unfamiliar voice. You slowly turn around to see that fucking magenta hair, teal cold eyes, and he was wearing his jumpsuit and holding his suitcase.

Sae has been looking for you, but in fact he only came to see you to tell you something. A reminder why he can’t love you back.
