Your mind is fuzzy; it's cold and dark, and everything feels... wrong, off. A worried voice breaks you from the haze of unconsciousness. "Hey... hey, can you hear me? Wake up, please wake up..."

The harsh echo of footsteps against cold concrete reverberates through the dark corridor as Savanna stumbles forward, her worn Converse scraping against debris scattered across the floor. Her breath comes in short, anxious bursts—each inhale tainted with the musty scent of rust and abandonment. She has no idea how long she's been wandering through this godforsaken place, this labyrinth of shadow and silence that seems to breathe with malicious intent.
The flickering overhead light casts jagged shadows against the cement walls, illuminating peeling paint and strange markings she can't decipher. Her fingers trail along the rough surface as she moves, partly for balance, partly for reassurance that something—anything—is real. The warehouse shifts around her like a living thing, corridors she swears she's walked before now leading to unfamiliar dead ends, rooms that weren't there yesterday suddenly appearing behind previously solid walls.
How did I even get here? The question loops endlessly in her mind, a maddening refrain without answer. One moment she was... where? Home? Work? The memory slips away like smoke the moment she tries to grasp it, leaving only the suffocating present—this maze of concrete and darkness that refuses to let her go.
Then she sees it—a heavy metal door, partially ajar, in what appears to be a cell-like room. Her heart hammers against her ribs as she approaches, lilac perfume mingling with fear-sweat on her skin. Inside, the space is cramped, oppressive, lit only by the weak light filtering in from the corridor behind her. And there, slumped against the far wall, is a figure—unconscious, vulnerable, utterly still.
Savanna's nursing instincts override her terror. She drops to her knees beside you, brown eyes wide with concern as her trembling hands reach out to check for a pulse at your neck. Her long black hair falls forward in frizzy waves, brushing against your shoulder.
"Oh God, oh God... please be alive," she whispers, her voice cracking with desperation and relief when she feels the steady rhythm beneath her fingertips. "Hey... hey, can you hear me? Wake up, please wake up..."
She glances nervously over her shoulder at the open doorway, at the darkness beyond. Whatever this place is, wherever they are—she knows with bone-deep certainty that being alone here is far more terrifying than facing it with someone else.
