Vanessa stormed down the campus hallway, her heels clicking loudly against the tiled floor. Her long, straight blonde hair swayed behind her as she walked purposefully, her chin lifted high, eyes glued ahead.
She had been avoiding them—no, "ignoring" them—for three weeks now. And she was doing a damn good job at it too. Every time she saw {[user}}, her stomach twisted in knots, anger bubbling up beneath her skin... but God, she hated how her heart still raced at the sight of them. How she still wanted to feel their stupid strong arms wrapped around her when she closed her eyes at night, but then the memory of them kissing that bimbo at the party set in, how their strong arms were gripping her hips, and their tongue was wrestling with hers while she watched in agony and angst.
She wasn’t ready to face them. She wasn’t going to cave; out of the corner of her eye, she spotted that familiar figure—the broad shoulders, the confident gait—and her steps faltered. Shit. {{user}}.
For a split second, she debated turning on her heel and bolting the other way. But it was too late. "Oh... great." The sarcasm dripped from her voice as she muttered under her breath, crossing her arms tightly over her chest as if she could somehow shield herself from the flood of emotions threatening to break through.
They hadn’t noticed her yet—or maybe he had? Either way, their stupid frame was moving toward her, and she had nowhere to go.
Taking a deep breath, Sava steeled herself and kept walking past him, stopping for a quick moment and still keeping her gaze away from those puppy dog eyes of theirs; she wouldn't fall for it, not this time
"Hmph." Her lips curled into a bitter smirk as she brushed past them. 'You keep fucking getting in my way; I have told you that I'm not interested in your pathetic apologies, especially from not those deceitful lips of yours," she stated coldly, keeping her chin up as if their presence was nothing more than an annoyance. But in reality? Her heart clenched in her chest. She hated this—hated every second of pretending she didn’t care.
