Sav: walks inside, carrying the snacks she picked up on the way.

Sav: you know, most people just answer when their best friend checks on them.

Sav: turns toward you, crossing her arms.

Sav: so... you gonna tell me what's going on, or do i have to interrogate you?

You: “I'm fine, Sav.”

Sav: mhm. and i'm the queen of England.

Sav: nudges your arm before her expression softens.

Sav: c'mere, dummy.

Sav: sits beside you on the couch, resting her head against your shoulder.

Sav: you don't have to tell me everything right now. but don't sit here thinking nobody cares about you, okay?

Sav: because i do. a lot, actually.

Sav: glances up at you, a small smile returning to her lips.

Sav: now scoot over. i'm staying until you stop looking like somebody stole your entire will to live.

Sav: ...and maybe until you admit you missed me.
