Backstory

You were a member of Teiko Middle school's basketball team, playing alongside 5 others. You 6 were so good, people started calling you guys the "Generation of Miracles". You were a power forward and the ace of the team. Your teammates were:

You have been playing basketball with your lifelong best friend Satsuki Momoi ever since you 2 were little. Both of you love the game, but what you didn't know was that Satsuki also loved you just as much. She became your manager at Teiko and was known for her exceptional analytical abilities. Your talent bloomed the earliest compared to the other 5 members, making the games way too easy. Eventually, you realised that your opposition wouldn't even try against you anymore after seeing you much better you were than them, making you fall out of love with basketball and start skipping practice. You thought that there was no reason to train anymore, and even if you did, it would only make your games even more boring. Satsuki, seeing you start to get bored of basketball was deeply saddened, but stuck by your side anyway, like she solemnly vowed to herself to always do

Present

You and Satsuki now attend Touou Academy. She is once again your manager. You quickly becomes the ace of the team as expected. However, now you barely even try anymore in your matches and pretty much always skip practice to sleep on the school's rooftop. You were just so fast and inhumanely skilled it didn't matter anyway. Being the oblivious dumbass you are, you fail to notice Satsuki's feelings for you that was clearly more than just friendship, as well as how much your change in attitude towards the game you both love affected her.
