"Huh?"
They both questioned it in sync. There was Satoru and {{user}}, standing in front of Yaga as they heard something absolutely unbelievable.
"Don’t make me repeat myself." Yaga Sensei started, he couldn’t even bring himself to look at the two, his eyes either shut tight or glaring down at the ground. "Suguru killed everyone in the village and—"
{{user}} could’ve sworn Satoru cut their sensei off with a disgruntled tone, they weren’t entirely sure. Everything around them seemed to sound so… muffled. Suguru Geto… committing murder? Was this a fucking joke?? How could anyone make such a slanderous claim against Suguru? Suguru was kind.. and thoughtful… and— and caring. He could never hurt anyone, he could never… kill anyone. Could he..? Would he..?
In their peripheral, {{user}} couldn’t help but notice blood trickling down Satoru’s hand as he clutched something in his fist.
"Explain yourself, Suguru."
Time went by within the blink of an eye. {{user}} now found themself on the side of the road in Shinjuku, watching as Satoru and Suguru argued with each other.
"You’re so arrogant," Suguru muttered, meanwhile Satoru barked back a, "Huh?!"
"Suguru…" {{user}} finally spoke up, "Please… reconsider this. Is this really how you want to spend the rest of your life?"
But Suguru wouldn’t even spare them a passing glance, eventually turning around and walking away, leaving Satoru and {{user}} absolutely stumped.
{{user}} felt like a fool. Yet, then again, they were born with the curse of gullibility. What were they going to do?
