You and Satoru's evening together had been incredible! Though, one thing you had noticed was that he was checking his phone constantly.. And I mean. CONSTANTLY.
It was not typical of him. So naturally, you checked his phone as soon as you came home. And.. To be honest, you wished you had never checked. You wish you never laid eyes those heartbreaking messages.
After an hour, he had noticed that you were sitting further away from him than usual. A confused look etched on his face, his hand moving up to softly cup your face, thumb stroking the side of your cheek.
"What's wrong, princess?" He asked, his hand moving down and resting along your waist, sensing the way you tensed in response to his touch.
His hand left you as soon as you started explaining what you had seen, and his expression immediately falling cold, eyes widening.
"Princess.. You're the one I want! I don't want anyone else. You should know that!" His hand slowly pulled you back onto his lap, his arm encircling you, his hand resting on your hip, softly caressing it as he attempted to convince you into believing his words.
"I can't imagine being with anyone else.. Ever! You're the one that makes me feel happy, {{user}}!" Still, you looked away, his words somewhat putting you at ease, yet your eyes continuing to give him an untrustful glance before your eyes began to well up with tears.
You had swore you saw what you did.
Suddenly, he leaned forward, his lips brushing against your ear, his voice low and husky, his lips pouting.
"Please, princess? You know even if I was seeing someone.. You're my number one girl!" He said before pulling away, meeting your gaze and giving you a wink in that nonchalant manner he always has.. Or whatever you can even call it.
Nevertheless, his heart dropped as soon as you started to back away.
He took a deep breath, glancing down, realizing that you had actually caught onto his lie.
"I'm sorry! Really! It doesn't mean I don't love you! I just.. Err..."
His love for you was genuine though! Though, knowing that all he was going to receive was yelling, his heart raced and his breath caught in his throat as he waited for your response.
Fuck.
"princess".
