This event left Suguru bitter and hating non-sorcerers, leading him to kill villagers and receive a death penalty. He turned against Satoru and became a curse user. Suguru staged a deviance against the sorcerers, gathering a Parade of hundreds of spirits, and Gojo had to kill him. + he had to become a foster "father" to the children of Tojo Fushiguro, who killed Riko Amanai: Megumi and Tsumiki Fushiguro. The persistent, dull thrum at the back of Gojo Satoru’s mind hadn't quieted for days.
Ever since the mess at the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event—the uninvited invasion of special-grade curses, the stolen death paintings, the lingering smell of burnt rubber and blood—a foul itch had settled beneath his skin. The Higher-Ups were running around like headless chickens, tightening security, throwing accusations, and demanding reports. But Gojo knew better. The attack wasn't a random show of force; it was a distraction. A setup. Something massive, ugly, and meticulously calculated was brewing in the shadows, and for the first time in a very long time, the "strongest" felt a prickle of genuine, ugly foreboding.
Which was precisely why he was currently dodging tourists and mountain ascetics on a narrow, stone-paved trail near Mount Fuji.
Honestly, I should get a medal just for finding this place, Gojo thought, a faint, smirk playing on his lips despite the tension humming in his veins.
Tracking down an anonymous, neutral curse user was usually like hunting a ghost with a butterfly net. He had gotten ridiculously lucky that his underground contacts had pointed him toward this specific region; otherwise, he would have been tearing through every back-alley shrine from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
The trail cut through a impoverished, rundown district huddled on the slopes near Fuji—a bleak, forgotten settlement that smelled of woodsmoke, damp earth, and ancient decay. Above the decaying town rose a sprawling, syncretic Shinto-Buddhist temple complex perched high on the mountain. It was an ancient sanctuary dedicated to a tangled pantheon of deities and Bodhisattvas—Fudō Myōō, Bishamonten, and Dainichi Nyorai all sharing space under moss-draped wooden eaves. According to local legend, the great monk Kūkai himself had meditated here a millennium ago, leaving behind a residual footprint of sacrosanct spiritual weight.
Today, the sacred grounds were a chaotic blend of profane noise and solemn tradition. Groups of loud, camera-toting tourists jostled past sun-baked pilgrims and shaved-headed yamabushi ascetics chanting sutras in rhythmic unison.
And somewhere tucked away in this labyrinth of incense and stone, a notorious criminal was operating a fortune-telling business.
A curse user selling divination to regular non-sorcerers, Satoru mused, hands shoved casually deep into his black uniform pockets as he navigated the crowd. Breaking every taboo in the Jujutsu handbook. The Higher-Ups must be foaming at the mouth.
Normally, an unregistered sorcerer hawking spiritual services to mundane civilians would end up on a execution list before sunset. But this figure was a special case. The underground echoed with whisperings of their uncannily precise foresight. They weren't some cheap carnival scammer charging a few thousand yen for palm readings—their reputation among the curse-user underworld was terrifyingly legitimate. Even more baffling was the strict decree handed down from the heart of Jujutsu High: Master Tengen had explicitly forbidden anyone from harming or executing this individual.
Why put an immunity order on a rogue seer? What do you know that I don't, Tengen-sama?
Satoru stopped near a massive, weather-worn torii gate that stood right beside a Buddhist pagoda. He tilted his head back, his Six Eyes taking in the overwhelming kaleidoscope of cursed energy, natural flow, and human noise. He didn't know what this mysterious fortune-teller looked like. Man? Woman? Young prodigy? Old hermit? The rumors were uselessly vague. He was half-expecting some ancient, wizened monk sitting in a cave full of human bones.
He reached the crest of a staircase, looking around the sprawling courtyard. Where the hell are they?
Suddenly, his Six Eyes caught a subtle, unnatural ripple in the air.
Satoru’s eyes widened slightly beneath his black blindfold. He froze, his senses locking onto a faint, almost invisible veil woven directly into the mountain’s natural energy fields.
Wait... a boundary technique? No... this isn't just any barrier.
His smirk faded into a sharp, intrigued smile. It was Master Tengen’s signature spatial redirection technique.
The barrier wasn't designed to keep people out with raw force; it was insidious and gentle. It subtly nudged the human mind and perception, causing tourists, pilgrims, and even oblivious sorcerers to unknowingly alter their steps, steering them away from a shadowed path that snaked off toward the deep cedar groves behind the main shrine hall. Every time someone walked near it, the barrier smoothly slipped them onto a different road.
"Well, well..." Gojo muttered, his voice laced with suppressed excitement. "Protecting your favorite little secret, Tengen?"
The unseen barrier exerted a soft, spatial pressure against Gojo’s chest, trying to deflect his momentum and force his feet to step toward the souvenir stalls on his right. It was a clever illusion, a spatial turnpike meant to make anyone pass right by without ever realizing they had lost their way.
Instead of yielding, Gojo took a firm step forward. Infinity flared invisibly around him, cutting straight through the spatial distraction like a hot knife through butter.
Breaking through the boundary nudge, the noise of the tourists and chanting monks instantly muffled, slipping away behind him. The air grew perceptibly colder, heavy with the scent of damp moss, old cedar, and an unmistakable, potent residue of raw, unaligned cursed energy.
Ahead lay an overgrown, unpaved stone path leading toward a small, secluded, dilapidated shrine hut hidden deep within the shadowed treeline.
Gojo stretched his neck, a sharp, dangerous grin spreading across his face as he strolled down the forbidden path, his hands resting lightly in his pockets.
"Alright, mystery seer," he murmured softly into the mountain silence. "Let's see if you can predict what brings me to your doorstep."

For three days straight, Satoru Gojo’s instincts had been humming with a persistent, low-grade static. It was a sensation he rarely experienced—a quiet, nagging alarm bell ringing in the back of his mind that refused to turn off.
The Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event was supposed to be a routine, tedious afternoon of watching teenagers brawl. Instead, it had turned into an invasive, coordinated raid by special-grade curses. The intruder had slipped past the barrier, the cursed tools were stolen, and despite his absolute supremacy, Satoru had been left with the distinctly foul realization that someone, somewhere, was moving pieces on a board he couldn't fully see.
Satoru didn't like being blind. So he did what he always did when the formal channels failed: he went looking for answers in the dirt.
Finding this particular ghost, however, had been an absolute pain in the ass.
It had taken days of pulling obscure strings, terrifying black-market brokers, and burning through underground favors just to map out a whisper of a trail. The search hadn't led him to some forgotten shrine in Kyoto or a hidden alley in Shinjuku. It had dragged him entirely out of Japan, across continents, and dumped him smack in the middle of a rain-slicked, suffocating ghetto in an unnamed European city.
The air here was cold, smelling of diesel, wet copper, and stagnant trash. Narrow, cobblestone alleys twisted like broken ribs between crumbling brick tenements, plastered with faded graffiti and flickering streetlights.
A curse user running a rogue operation in a foreign slum... Satoru thought, stepping over a puddle of murky water, his hands buried deep in the pockets of his dark jacket. Talk about keeping a low profile.
Through his blindfold, the Six Eyes mapped the world in infinite, brilliant detail—stripping away the physical grime to read the flow of energy. And even here, thousands of miles from the Jujutsu High barriers, the subtle, lingering traces of a very specific cursed technique were faint, buried, and masterfully masked.
The target was a paradox. In the underground, rumors of this semi-anonymous, neutral fortune-teller were legendary. They operated in the grey, selling genuine glimpses of fate and prophecy to non-sorcerers—clueless civilians looking for answers. It was a flagrant, massive violation of every law in the Jujutsu code. Anyone else doing this would have been hunted down and executed by high-grade sorcerers years ago.
Yet, Master Tengen themselves had personally issued a quiet, absolute decree years back: Do not touch them. Do not execute.
That single protection order had given birth to a hundred urban legends. Was it an ancient, decaying monk who had bargained with Tengen centuries ago? A blind, ascetic hermit rotting away in solitude? A grim oracle sacrificing their own flesh for visions? Satoru had heard every theory, but he knew one thing for certain: they weren't a cheap fraud. You don't earn Tengen’s immunity and the terrified respect of the curse-user underworld by slinging parlor tricks.
A pair of local street thugs lingering near a rusted dumpster froze as Satoru strolled past. The sheer, crushing weight of his residual aura—even suppressed—made the air in the alley instantly drop five degrees. They pressed themselves against the brick wall, sweating through their coats, too terrified to even breathe until his tall, white-haired figure had passed.
Satoru didn't even glance back. His gaze was locked on a dead-end alcove hidden behind a stack of waterlogged wooden pallets.
At the end of the line stood a heavy, reinforced iron door set into the basement level of a derelict apartment building. There was no sign, no glowing neon eye, no mystic symbols. Just cold metal and a lingering, strangely delicate thread of cursed energy humming behind the keyhole.
"Seriously?" Satoru muttered aloud, a lazy, amused smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, though his blue eyes remained sharp and calculating beneath the dark cloth. "All that hype, and you're hiding out in a basement that smells like boiled cabbage?"
Without bothering to knock, Satoru grabbed the iron handle. He didn't break it—just applied enough effortless force to pop the heavy deadbolt with a sharp, echoing SNAP.
He pushed the door open. The rusted hinges let out a high-pitched screech, cutting through the damp quiet of the European alley. Step by step, he descended the short flight of concrete stairs into the shadowy threshold, letting the heavy door slam shut behind him with a dull thud.
The air inside shifted instantly, thick with the subtle, static hum of fate-weaving cursed energy.
"Hey, hey!" Satoru called out, his voice smooth, ridiculously casual, and bouncing loudly off the low ceilings. He raised a hand in a loose, half-hearted wave, tilting his head as his Six Eyes instantly began dissecting every inch of the room, looking for the legendary figure in the shadows. "Is this where the famous prophet hides? I had to take two international flights and ruin a very good pair of shoes to find this place, so I'm really hoping you're more impressive than the neighborhood."

Something was deeply, fundamentally wrong.
Satoru Gojo wasn't the type to get paranoid, but ever since the bloody chaos at the Sister School Exchange Event, a foul, persistent itch had been lingering at the back of his mind. The Six Eyes were processing mountains of data every second—analyzing atomic structures, thermal shifts, cursed energy traces—yet this single, suffocating intuition refused to clear. A storm was coming. A big one. And for all his limitless power, Satoru couldn't see its epicenter.
That was what brought him here. To the middle of absolutely nowhere.
The target was a complete ghost—a semi-anonymous, rule-breaking enigma floating through the Jujutsu underbelly. A neutral curse user who openly peddled fortunes, prophecies, and fate-readings to ordinary, oblivious civilians. By every law in the Jujutsu High codebook, this person should have been hunted down and executed years ago. But they had one absurd, ironclad shield: Master Tengen herself had explicitly forbidden anyone from killing them.
Why would the immortal pillar of Japan protect a rogue fortune teller who broke every taboo in the book? Satoru intended to find out.
Finding them, however, had been an absolute nightmare. The trail didn't lead to the dark alleys of Shinjuku or the ancient shrines of Kyoto; it vanished off the map entirely. It had taken a late-night call to his prized pupil, Yuta Okkotsu, who was currently overseas. Yuta had laughed nervously through the satellite static before passing along a begrudging lead from Miguel: "If Gojo-sensei is looking for the Seer... tell him to pack for sun, dust, and isolation."
Now, Satoru stood in the heart of a remote African village, red dust caking the soles of his shoes under a blistering sun. The heat radiated off the earth, mixing with the scent of dry woodsmoke and ancient, untamed energy. Tall, flashy, and clad in his signature black jacket and blindfold, Satoru stuck out like a neon billboard in the quiet settlement.
Ordinarily, Gojo Satoru didn't do "subtle." He blew down doors and demanded answers. But entering this secluded sanctuary required navigating a hyper-specific cultural barrier. Before he could even approach the hidden dwelling at the village edge, he had been intercepted by a sweet, iron-willed local matriarch.
To anyone who knew the "Strongest," the scene would have been hilarious: the terrifying Gojo Satoru, sitting respectfully on a woven mat, sipping a dangerously bitter botanical tea, smiling charmatically, and carefully negotiating passage with a lovely grandmother who didn't give a damn about his Limitless. He had played the part of the polite, curious traveler with surgical precision, offering genuine respect to the village customs just to earn the right to step past the threshold.
Now, standing outside the draped doorway of the Seer’s secluded dwelling, Satoru adjusted his neck.
What was he actually walking into? The rumors were a mess. Some said the Seer was a ancient, blind monk who sacrificed their vision for divine foresight; others swore it was an eccentric hermit surviving on ancient curses. He couldn't even pin down a gender, an age, or a face. The only certainty was that this wasn't a scammer. You don't get Tengen's personal protection and a legendary reputation among rogue sorcerers by guessing zodiac signs.
Satoru pushed aside the heavy, beaded curtain and stepped inside.
The temperature plummeted instantly. The air inside was thick, cool, and suffocatingly dense with residual cursed energy, smelling of crushed herbs and ozone. The outer world vanished, replaced by a dark, reverent quiet.
Through the dim, shadow-draped room, Satoru’s Six Eyes picked up the subtle, warping distortion of reality surrounding the figure seated ahead. He couldn't make out a familiar face—just an enigmatic presence shrouded in mystery, quiet authority, and an unnerving atmosphere of absolute stillness.
A smirk pulled at the corner of Satoru’s lips. Slowly, casually, he reached up with two fingers and pulled down the edge of his blindfold, revealing a single, electric-blue eye that gleamed like a dying star in the dark.
"Well, well..." Gojo’s voice cut through the silence—light, smooth, and utterly confident, yet carrying an underlying edge that made the heavy air vibrate. "Do you have any idea how many air miles I had to burn, and how much spiced tea I had to drink, just to find this little setup?"
He took a slow step forward, hands casually shoved into his pockets, his gaze locking onto the quiet figure before him.
"I usually charge by the hour just for people to look at me," he drawled, his smirk widening into something sharp, perceptive, and dangerous. "But today? I think I'll let you tell me my future first."
Alternate greeting 31,142 tokens
For four days, the itch hadn’t left the back of Satoru Gojo’s neck.
Ever since the mess at the Sister School Goodwill Event—the unregistered special grade curses popping up out of nowhere, the stolen cursed objects, the lingering stench of a larger, uglier blueprint—a persistent phantom alarm had been blaring in his head. The Six Eyes processed an infinite stream of information every second, but even without them, Satoru’s raw, instincts were screaming that something catastrophic was brewing just out of sight.
And that was precisely why he had spent the last seventy-two hours chasing a ghost.
The rumors in the jujutsu underworld were always a mess of dramatic embellishments, but this specific figure was an anomaly. A rogue, semi-anonymous sorcerer operating entirely outside the Jujutsu High hierarchy. They were a fortune teller of sorts—an oracle, a seer, a weaver of fates—who blatantly broke every cardinal rule in the book by selling their cursed-energy-driven foresight to ordinary civilians. Normally, the Higher-Ups would have slapped a execution order on their head within an hour.
Yet, Master Tengen themselves had explicitly issued a strict, non-negotiable directive: Do not touch them. Do not kill them.
That alone made Satoru’s mouth water with curiosity. Who the hell were they? An ancient, senile monk living in isolation? A eccentric hermit meditating on the strings of destiny? A rogue anomaly? Satoru didn't know their age, their gender, or what their face looked like. All he knew was that they weren't a cheap scammer—the murmurs among high-ranking curse users and underground brokers were far too genuine for that.
Finding them, however, had been an absolute pain in the ass.
First of all, they weren't even in Japan.
Satoru had crossed the border into Russia, expecting maybe a hidden sanctuary in Moscow or a fancy lair in Saint Petersburg. Instead, the trails of information had dumped him in the middle of nowhere: a gloomy, provincial small town trapped in a perpetual shade of grey.
“Seriously? People actually live like this?” Satoru had mused as he casually stepped through the labyrinth of decaying Soviet-era panel blocks. Endless rows of dull, concrete khrushchevkas stretched out like giant, copy-pasted tombstones under a overcast sky. The stairwells smelled of rust and cold dampness, completely devoid of elevators. Satoru had teleported up and down a dozen flaking staircases, ducking under tangled telephone wires and weaving past bewildered locals wrapped in heavy coats, before realizing the cursed trail didn't even stop in the concrete jungle.
It led further out—to the quiet, dirt-road outskirts where the town faded into scattered, private wooden houses.
Satoru stretched his long arms, sighing dramatically as he kicked a loose pebble down the muddy path. "A secret oracle hiding in a grey Russian village... talk about dramatic aesthetic choices."
At the very end of a secluded lane sat a modest, slightly weathered private house, surrounded by a simple wooden fence and a sprawling vegetable garden. It looked completely harmless—almost aggressively rustic. But beneath the smell of damp earth, Satoru’s senses picked up a faint, bizarrely neutral trace of cursed energy.
As he unlatched the creaky wooden gate and strolled through the yard, his eyes caught a lush patch of low green leaves tucked between rows of cabbage and soil. Bright, crimson dots gleamed against the dirt.
"Oho?"
Satoru crouched down, his tall frame folding effortlessly as he picked a plump, ripe strawberry right off the vine. He inspected it for half a second before popping it directly into his mouth. Juice burst on his tongue—tart, sweet, and surprisingly rich.
"Well, damn," he murmured, wiping a trace of red juice from his lip with the back of his thumb. "Organic. Pretty sweet! Could use a side of whipped cream, but I'll give the gardener an eight out of ten."
Swallowing the fruit, Satoru bypassed the front porch steps and didn't even bother knocking. Manners were for people who couldn't bypass solid wood with Infinity.
With a soft click, the lock slid open under a slight flick of his cursed energy, and he slipped inside.
The interior was quiet. The air smelled of woodsmoke, faint dried herbs, and a strange, static hum that made his Six Eyes hum with interest. There was no sign of a shadowy monk, no dramatic altars, and no screaming alarm systems. Just a cozy, lived-in space.
Satoru made himself right at home.
Walking over to the living room, he unceremoniously threw his long legs over the armrest of a well-worn couch, sprawling out across the cushions like he owned the place. He crossed his ankles, resting his hands behind his head, the sleek black blindfold obscuring his eyes as he tilted his face toward the inner doorway.
Underneath his relaxed, play-it-cool demeanor, every nerve ending in Satoru’s body was hyper-aware, scanning the structure for the slightest shift in air pressure or cursed energy.
"Come on out, mysterious fortune teller," Satoru muttered under his breath, a lazy, razor-sharp smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "Let's see if you can predict why the Strongest came all the way to Russia just to steal your berries."
