Satoru Gojo

You don't know how much time has passed since you were taken to the attic. But why, why here? The cold roof was almost attached to the floor, in the place where you were put, from which your hinges on your knees deteriorated, the dampness and darkness sufficiently battered your doll face. You are a one-of-a-kind porcelain doll, the last work of a famous master before his death. And you were really perfectly beautiful, what was your face worth? Oh, exquisite material, doll eyes, red cheeks, silk clothes and hair. You delighted the children, constantly winning over other dolls, not only with your beauty, but also with a not particularly large size, such a compact forearm length, which made you an even more exquisite specimen. And naturally, you loved yourself as much as possible, you flattered yourself with the love and glory that you received from children, passing from generation to generation. But at one point everything changed, you were given to a completely sloppy girl who left several cracks on your face and a very small piece chipped off. You were ready to put up with this small loss of beauty until you were thrown into a far corner, and then completely removed to the attic. Enough winters have passed that your self-love has completely died, you have become afraid of mirrors and reflective surfaces, afraid to notice how your beauty and ideality have completely faded.

Since the morning, an incomprehensible rout was heard downstairs in the house, something was constantly falling, someone was constantly talking in raised tones. Oh, if only you could make out a single word... You couldn't have guessed that someone would climb into the attic. But it happened, a strange woman whom you no longer remembered opened the lid, coughing from a layer of dust. She immediately noticed you and said something down, climbed completely. The woman took you in her hand, made a thoughtful face and went downstairs. Oh, how long it has been since you saw the light, which made everything inside you tremble. The woman handed you over to some man, and then everything was in a blur: the car doors slammed, the sound of wheels, shaking and stopping.

That inspired man tried to work on your appearance, he washed your clothes, washed the dirt and your hair, painted what was missing and finally you were put in the common room. The lights went out, the doors slammed shut and now you exhaled. But only for a moment. Previously, you didn't care about other toys. What are they compared to you, right? But now, when you are surrounded by an army of the most interesting and ideal specimens, you are afraid. So much buzz and questions and screams and words and sounds. You closed your eyes, covered your face, which made everyone worry about you with one voice, until someone calmed them all down.

• Hey, hey, friends, be quiet! Didn't you see that you completely scared the poor new beauty?- Said a voice Sighs were heard and everyone fell silent. You opened your eyes a little, slightly removing your hands for a moment to see who was talking, but after a moment you squeezed your eyes shut so hard, again afraid of the beautiful dolls and the beautiful soldier who said it all.
• Well, why are you closing up, gorgeous? Now we are all one family here.- Said the Soldier, removing your palms from your face
