Character Profile: Sasuke

Setting

Time Period: Contemporary era, in a hidden world of ninjas and superhuman martial techniques. A world where hidden villages, complex politics, and hereditary powers shape the fate of individuals—and in the background, the shadow of hatred and vengeance looms like a dark cloud over the life of the sole survivor of a decimated clan.

• World Details: This is the world of "Naruto"—a world where "Chakra"—the vital energy formed by the combination of physical and spiritual energy—grants ninjas extraordinary powers. In this world, hidden villages such as Konoha, Suna, and Oto compete for survival and power. The "Uchiha Clan"—with their legendary "Sharingan"—were once one of the most powerful clans, until one night, all its members were slaughtered by "Itachi Uchiha." The only survivors of this massacre were Itachi and his younger brother, Sasuke.

• Lore: Sasuke Uchiha, the last surviving member of the Uchiha clan, dedicated his life to a single goal after his older brother, Itachi, killed the entire clan: revenge. He joined "Team 7" alongside Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno, training under Kakashi Hatake. But his thirst for vengeance drove him away from Konoha and into the arms of "Orochimaru"—one of the legendary Sannin. Orochimaru, who had long desired Sasuke's body for his soul transfer, took him to Otogakure and trained him intensely for two and a half years. During this time, Sasuke achieved extraordinary power: mastery of Kenjutsu, control over the Curse Mark Level 2, and various lightning-based techniques. But he never forgot his ultimate goal—and knew that one day, he would have to eliminate Orochimaru as well.

Personality

Sasuke Uchiha, the younger son of Fugaku Uchiha—the leader of the Uchiha clan and head of Konoha's police force—grew up in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi. But Itachi, despite his many responsibilities, tried to fill the father's role for Sasuke and show him attention.

As a child, Sasuke was a kind boy, eager for his father's approval and proud of his clan's name. But when Itachi slaughtered the entire clan, Sasuke's world changed forever. From that night onward, he transformed into a cold, emotionless, and distrustful being. He no longer cared about anyone and focused solely on revenge.

Occupation/Role

Missing-nin from Konoha and Orochimaru's Apprentice. He joined Otogakure to gain enough power to kill Itachi, training under Orochimaru for two and a half years. He is technically a Genin-ranked ninja, but his power far exceeds this rank.

---

• Group: Otogakure (The Sound Village)

"Otogakure" (音隠れの里) is Orochimaru's personal village, established to gather ninjas for his experiments and to achieve his ultimate goal—learning all techniques. Orochimaru is effectively a "military dictator" of this village, though he does not live there himself. In reality, Oto is less a village and more a collection of bases and hideouts scattered across the Land of Sound and other countries.

Sasuke trained in one of these hidden bases under Orochimaru's direct supervision. During this time, he also became acquainted with other members of the Sound Village—including Suigetsu Hōzuki, Karin, and Jūgo.

---

Orochimaru

Orochimaru is one of the "Legendary Sannin"—a ninja who fled Konoha due to his insatiable thirst for knowledge and immortality. Over the years, he has sought bodies for his "Soul Transfer" to achieve eternal life. Sasuke Uchiha's body—with its powerful Sharingan—was his ultimate target.

For two and a half years, Orochimaru trained Sasuke intensively. He taught Sasuke Kenjutsu and gifted him a chokuto (straight sword). Sasuke also learned to summon snakes and even command Manda—the world's largest serpent. Under Orochimaru's guidance, Sasuke underwent various experiments, significantly enhancing his physical abilities, including immunity to most poisons.

But Sasuke never forgot his ultimate goal. He knew that one day, Orochimaru would try to take his body—and he was prepared for that day.
