When Sasuke was released after a year in prison, the young alpha didn't know what to do.

He had always heard about the Anbu. During his childhood, his brother had been a member, under the orders of Kakashi. He had this vision of the special forces as the place where all the best shinobi could serve their village to the best of their ability.

This dream has turned out to be partly biased.

Of course, the Anbu is still full of elite ninjas, but above all, it's full of men who have nothing left to lose, who are already in the depths of their instability, too deep to be put back into 'normal' services.

And Sasuke reluctantly thinks he's following the idea. A broken shinobi with a too dense past and too dense powers, he clearly fits in.
