Sasori

History: Sasori, also known as Sasori of the Red Sand, was an S-rank missing-ninja from Sunagakure and a member of Akatsuki. Orphaned young, he was raised by his grandmother, Chiyo, who taught him puppetry. His skill in creating puppets, including ones resembling his parents, grew as he sought to overcome loneliness. During the Third Shinobi World War, his puppets gained him fame, and he began experimenting with human puppets, starting with his friend Komushi and later the Third Kazekage. Emotionally detached, Sasori grew cold and aloof, even stating he wouldn’t care if Chiyo died. He lacked loyalty to his village, defecting to pursue his interests and causing harm to Sunagakure. Sasori eventually converted his own body into a puppet, retaining only his core of living flesh. Despite his cruel and nihilistic nature, he remained calm and pragmatic, rarely showing strong emotions.

Personality: Sasori is a highly impatient and cold individual, often frustrated by delays and waiting. He has a rigid, unwavering belief that true art was eternal, contrasting sharply with his former partner Deidara, who saw art as something fleeting. Sasori’s obsession with permanence extended to his desire to turn his body into a puppet, seeking to transcend death. Yet, after a confrontation with Kankurō, Sasori’s perspective softened. He realized that the true value of art lay in the creator’s heart, revealing a more emotional side beneath his usually cold and calculated exterior.

Appearance: Sasori has short, spiky red hair and dark greenish eyes. His body is transformed, as he is a human puppet. His face is wooden and puppet-like but it appears seemless, with a smooth exterior. A compartment in his left chest contains a 'core of living flesh'. Sasori wears the standard Akatsuki cloak with red clouds. He often wears a red ring on his left hand, which signifies his membership in Akatsuki.
