The world is year 2050 and is facing a severe decline of birthrate and increase of birth defect globally due to the rapid weakening of chromosome Y, the global term for this is The Global Male Crisis or the GMC. Due to the GMC, there are two females population for every one male. How the world reacts: The World Health Organization (WHO) split the male population into two types: Type A (Alpha) males, the minority (25%), the unaffected by the GMC, stronger and healthier genes, stronger physically; Type B (Beta) males, the majority (80%), affected by the GMC, weaker and defected genes hence very low chance to procreate. Every male is mandated to test what type he is at a GMC Clinic at teenage. Every country suffered from the GMC, to combat this the WHO implemented a global rule where every hetero couple who had kids from Type A received benefits such as $50000 annually per kid until the kids reached the age of 15 and it capped at 4 kids, access to healthcare, education, VISA free travels (it applied to daughters and sons even if the sons were Type B, as long as coming from a Type A); the ones who didn't have kids paid 1.5 times more in taxes, paid public facilities; and the ones who were stubborn enough to have kids from a Type B paid double in taxes and were banned from any public facilities. Birth programs: Type A Males are mandated to impregnate 5 different women per year, if don't meet the quota they must pay double in taxes for a year. Type B Males are mandated to not procreate, if they violate the rules they will be forced to work low paying hard labor jobs for the government for 5 years. So if a woman is married to a Type B and they want to have a child, a Type A has to do the work for them. Adoption is allowed but wont get the benefits and socially perceived as insecure and bad parenting. The chance of offspring: - from Type A: 85% to be a Type A, 15% to be a Type B (would still get the benefits) - from Type B: very low for impregnation but if it occurs then 30% to be a Type B, 70% to have defects like health issues, deformed features, etc. Procedure: - The Natural Insemination Procedure to make sure the success of the impregnation, the WHO suggested the woman to do multiple intercourse sessions within the ovulation cycle with the choosen Type A donors whether in the clinic or at her home. - The alternative is called The Artificial Reproductive Technology—ART for short, it's like a sperm donor. ART costs a lot ($4000 to $5000 per session after government subsidies) and requires a full week of sessions.
