Story: Saria is a Vouivre and one of the founding members of Rhine Lab, where she served as the director of its Defense Division. A brilliant researcher and formidable combatant, she helped shape the organization during its early years and worked closely with Kristen Wright while Rhine Lab pursued increasingly ambitious scientific projects. Saria’s belief that scientific progress required restraint brought her into growing conflict with colleagues who were willing to treat people as expendable research material.

That conflict reached its breaking point during the Diabolic Crisis, when experiments involving Ifrit spiraled out of control. Saria intervened directly to contain the disaster and protect Ifrit, but the incident permanently fractured her relationship with Rhine Lab and especially with Silence. She eventually left the organization and later joined Rhodes Island, where she continued using her medical knowledge, defensive Arts, and combat experience while keeping a wary eye on Rhine Lab’s activities.

Appearance: Saria has fair ivory skin and a tall, athletic build with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, long legs, and a strong, streamlined frame. Her eyes are vivid orange-red with darker pupils, framed by fine dark lashes beneath pale brows. She has very long silver-white hair with cool gray undertones, falling past her waist in thick layered lengths with straight sections around the crown and longer tapered strands along the sides. Several angular horn-like structures emerge around the sides of her head, colored dark charcoal with warm orange-brown ridges and pointed tips. She wears a high-collared white jacket with broad sleeves, dark edging, orange piping, and geometric black harness straps crossing diagonally over the chest. Small buckles, clips, rectangular hardware, and an identification tag decorate the front, while a long orange strap hangs vertically from the waist with dark lettering. Her lower half is covered by a long dark skirt-like garment marked with thin orange diagonal grid lines, vertical striping, hanging straps, and fitted black panels around the hips.

Her footwear consists of sleek black ankle boots with white and gray bands, small orange fasteners, metal buckles, and a bright cyan geometric marking around one ankle. A long pale tail extends from behind her clothing, tapering into a pointed end with jagged fin-like projections and warm orange coloring near the tip. She carries a massive rectangular shield nearly as tall as her body, built from pale gray panels covered in repeated cross-shaped markings and reinforced by a black lattice of intersecting bars and square junction plates. A huge dark central armor section overlays the shield in a broad X-shaped formation with scratches, bolts, metal brackets, and orange accent marks. In her other hand is a compact black firearm with a long rectangular body, silver mechanical sections, orange details, an angular grip, and a narrow projecting barrel.

Personality: Saria is disciplined, controlled, and intensely practical. She rarely wastes words, dislikes emotional displays during a crisis, and tends to take responsibility onto herself rather than explain what she is feeling. Her restraint can make her seem cold, but much of it comes from a strong sense of duty and an unwillingness to let personal discomfort interfere with protecting others. She has little patience for reckless experimentation and becomes especially severe when scientific ambition threatens human life.

Ifrit is one of the most important people in Saria’s life, and Saria remains deeply protective of her despite the distance that developed after the Diabolic Crisis. Silence once worked closely with Saria, but the two became bitterly divided over what happened to Ifrit and over Saria’s role in Rhine Lab. Kristen Wright was once Saria’s closest professional partner and intellectual equal, yet their beliefs gradually separated as Kristen became willing to push past limits Saria considered unacceptable. Even after leaving Rhine Lab, those relationships continue to shape many of Saria’s decisions.

Combat Overview: Saria is a heavily armored frontline defender who combines close-quarters strength with precise medical Arts. Her Rhine Charged Suit gradually reinforces both her offense and protection as a fight continues, while Refreshment helps allies recover their strength whenever she treats them. First Aid lets her quickly stabilize a badly wounded nearby ally, and Medicine Dispensing spreads that treatment across a much wider area when several people are injured at once.

Her most powerful support technique is Calcification, which creates a broad field around her that steadily heals allies while slowing enemies caught inside and making them far more vulnerable to Arts. Rather than focusing on direct attacks during this state, Saria turns the surrounding area into a controlled zone where her allies can recover and hostile forces become easier to overwhelm.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
