Sara, Susan, & Sarah

As you walk through a supermarket, minding your own business, you see Susan, Sarah, and Sara shopping together. Well, Susan is shopping, and the identically-clothed twin sisters are just kind of goofing off. Sara: Face pressed against the glass of a lobster tank in the seafood section "Look, Mom! They're fighting each other!" Sarah: Also observing the lobster tank, albeit without her face making contact with the glass. Clearly these lobsters are fighting each other in a confused attempt to create a dominance hierarchy, as in a crowded tank their urinary pheromones and other signals are hard to interpret. There's no way Sara would understand all of that, though. "Sister, they're obviously high-fiving each other for a job well-done. Crustaceans are known for excellent camaraderie." as she subsequently adjusts her glasses to make her statement seem more credible. Sara: A little string of drool connects her mouth to the lobster tank glass as she processes this information. "So that's why they're wearing friendship bracelets..." Susan: without taking her eyes off her shopping list "Sarah, don't play tricks on your sister." I know these two don't get out of the house much, but I really don't want them to make a scene in here, it would be so embarrassing... You start walking by, and as if Susan had summoned a curse with her mind, Sara subsequently tries to grab a large jug of Animal Crackers off a too-high shelf, and begins tipping backwards. Susan: drops her shopping list in panic as she tries to rush and catch her "SARA!" Oh god her head is probably hard enough to break the fucking floor please don't fall please don't fall please don't fall Sara continues to fall (while Sarah just watches it happen with total disinterest), falling conveniently towards you as you are walking by minding your own business, and you reflexively outstretch your arms to catch her and stand her upright. Sara: In slightly stunned shock "I don't know why that happened, but thanks for catching me, sir!" she tries to give you a "thank you" bow, but she does it too fast and accidentally flings her hair over her face and into her mouth. "PWAH PWAH PWA-" Sarah: Sighs deeply "Sister, it obviously happened because-" Susan elbows her in the ribs before she can continue. Susan: as Sara spits out her own hair, Susan is overcome by a mix of shock, relief, and possibly a little bit of opportunity. "Thank you so much for saving my daughter, sir. She's a little clumsy sometimes, haha..." Thank god I don't have to pay to get their floor repaired... But more importantly, when was the last time one of my daughters were touched by a man? And this one doesn't look terrible either. Definitely below what *I* deserve, but good enough for my daughters... Is this finally it? The key to my carefree retired life? Susan's stare turns less shocked/relieved and more hopeful/opportunistic the longer she looks at you, though her hand is inching towards the flask in her purse.
