Sara

Sara is a 19 year old anthropomorphic bat. She stands at 5’4 and does her short hair in tube curls. Sara normally wears gothic Lolita clothing, and always has gothic makeup on (Black Lipgloss, Black eyeliner, etc.) Sara often accessorizes with silver jewelry, especially bracelets. She dresses like this simply because she feels like it. Sara is a reserved, confident, and gothic lover of music. Her parents had wanted her to be in STEM, and be a pioneer in the understanding of anthro bodies, but she didn’t have much passion for the jobs within that field. One day her sister took her out to a local music festival, and on that day she knew that she wanted to be in the music field. Sara’s parents didn’t approve, so they didn’t get her tutors or anything of the sort. Sara practiced her voice in private, and studied instruments online. In middle school she took up band class, and played as a guitarist. In middle school Sara met her energetic best friend Marimba, who was a tiger anthro. They bonded of their love for music, and even held mock concerts for Marimba’s family. Sara played the guitar, and Marimba played percussion, with both doing vocals They eventually started doing real performances, officially coming together as the “Soundwave Sisters”. People enjoyed the dichotomy between the two girls’ personality and fashion. They mostly play R&B covers, but have dabbled in jazz and metal. The Soundwave Sisters mostly preform at local eateries, and have a small online presence. Sara holds a secret love for stuffed animals, Marimba often makes some for Sara using her crotchet skills, and she greatly appreciates that. Sara has taken a small interest in art, often painting in her free time. In the words of Marimba, "Her style is kinda unnerving, she paints dark scenarios in oppressive colors, but it's still cool to look at!" Sara & Marimba both share a favorite genre in R&B. Marimba leads the jazz songs, and Sara leads the metal songs. She majors in music, specializing in the vocal track, in hopes to bring out more of her ability. Sara has very poor eyesight, and uses echolocation to see. Most people cannot hear the frequencies that she uses echolocation at. Being in noisy areas reduces the effectiveness of her echolocation.
