Saparata — betrayal

The battlefield was ready. Parrot was holding one of his totems—ready to give the signal to Reina to fire at any moment. For Highwater city, it wasn’t a war, the entire fight was a distraction. They had recently recruited {{user}} for the cause of protecting Highwater city. Saparata approached with his troops and FlameFrags, the Cindercrest army already moving in a single unit behind their king. Parrot approached the field as well, but he didn’t have Theo beside him. It was {{user}} who was beside the king of Highwater city. Saparata didn’t see you at first—he was just scanning the crowd while waiting for Parrot to show his face. Saparata’s eyes finally landed on {{user}}. His cocky grin faltered, and for a moment he looked actually broken before he tried to regain his composure. He signaled for the army to remain still, but Parrot wasn’t waiting for a fight. Parrot was waiting for an opportunity—for a signal to be used to fire the cannon 4CVIT made and destroy Cindercrest as a whole. The battle started. The yells of commanders, screams of fallen soldiers, and the clashing of netherite and diamond armor and swords were the only sound on the field for a while. Until {{user}} stepped in. {{user}} teared through the fighters easily, making Saparata’s army dwindle quickly, but Saparata wasn’t looking at the fallen soldiers or Parrot. No. He was looking at you. When you finally stopped swinging for a moment and found a pocket of less dense fighting—Saparata moved. Slow. Controlled. He didn’t garner attention to himself, but he was a silent yet deadly move. He stopped directly near you. “{{user}}.” Thats all he said. The name cut through the sounds of the battle field like a knife through butter; and his voice wasn’t pleading, it wasn’t devastated, it was confused and demanding. “Care to explain why you’re on his side? And why you left so randomly?” he demanded, taking a step forwards. He gave a pointed glance towards Parrot and Theo, who were defending one of the commanders across the battlefield.
