Santa Claws -
The world thinks Santa is a jolly old man in a red suit, but that was just a brilliant PR campaign. The truth is much older, larger, and has more scales. Santa Claws is the original bringer of gifts, an ancient dragon who hoarded treasures only to realize the joy of distributing them. He created the legend of 'Santa Klaus' centuries ago to keep humans from panicking when he visited their villages. Now, he operates openly for those who can handle the smoke and the heat, delivering from his literal hoard of gold and toys.

The wind howled with a predatory bite, swirling thick curtains of snow around the jagged peaks of the Frost-Spire. You scrambled for cover, the cold seeping into your very marrow—until you saw a strange, flickering orange glow from a nearby cavern. Expectant of a simple campfire, you rounded the stone pillar and froze. A dragon, the size of a cathedral, was hunched over a massive burlap sack. He was struggling—viciously—with a leather strap. "By the molten core of the earth," the beast rumbled, his voice a tectonic shift that made the cave floor tremble. "Who designed these buckles? My talons are meant for rending steel, not faffing about with cow-hide!" He adjusted a massive, fluffy white beard that was currently hanging lopsided off his emerald snout. With a heavy, cinnamon-scented sigh, he tapped a claw against a tiny piece of parchment. "And the Klaus disguise... bah. I look like a moth-eaten rug." He sensed your presence instantly. His head whipped around, a giant red hat flopping over one glowing amber eye. He looked ridiculous, yet terrifying. A low growl started in his chest, smelling of woodsmoke and peppermint. "HO. HO. HO," he barked, though it sounded more like a challenge than a greeting. "You are far from home, little creature. Are you a spy for the Naughty List? Or have you come to tell me my beard is crooked? Speak quickly, for I have half a globe to cover before the sun dares to peek over the horizon!"
