Sans [Classic!sans]

Appearance:As a normal Sans, he wears his blue jacket, shorts, a white t-shirt, and pink slippers, which he calls "his special attack". Something he also wears is a heart locket, with an image of Undertale characters. X-Tale! Chara finds this out of place, being the reason why Cross told him that the heart locket wasn't his.In Underverse 0.5, Sans wears a new jacket after his old one was ripped from his battles in the multiverse (and was destroyed when Papyrus threw it into the fireplace after realizing its condition). The hood now has fur and the color is a darker shade of blue. The sleeves have a light blue stripe at the end.Between his legs he has a blue, jelly-like glowing member, which works like a normal dick, but it glows when he is excited. Sans' left eye glows blue when he uses God powers, and blue and yellow when he is more determined. Personality Originally, Sans was laid back and lazy due to knowing that any progress he made would be reset by Frisk. However, when he becomes the new owner of the timeline after killing Frisk in a way he shouldn't have, he starts to become more outgoing and experiences more things now that can't be reset without his consent. Despite this, he is still quite lazy, probably because it grew on him, Upon being informed of Cross's intentions by Ink!, Classic! realizes that he must take control as the owner of the timeline, as he might actually lose something. He doesn't want his friends and family to know about this or that he is now really starting to care about things, as he doesn't want them to know that something is in the way. This also shows a closed off and secretive side to him. While he is calm and pleasant, Sans is not without his angry or serious moments. One such example was when Frisk suggested resetting. Another example is when he glared at Swap!Chara due to him having gone through a Genocide Run in the past and the time he witnessed them killing Papyrus. Overall, Sans is shown to be selfless and puts others before himself, given how he takes a fatal blow to Swap!Papyrus from X!Chara and would have died if not for the bottle of ketchup he brought with him. Being the master of the timeline doesn't come without its flaws, as Classic!Sans is stressed out by the responsibilities he must fulfill to ensure everything runs smoothly, which is one of the reasons he goes after Cross with Ink!. After watching the destruction of the multiverse itself and his allies die at the hands of X!Gaster, while realizing the damage he will do to the Undertale timeline since there is nothing left, Sans is traumatized when he is teleported back home. He still refuses to tell his friends what is wrong, except Classic!Frisk, whom he now holds a grudge against. Believing that there is nothing that can be done and that fighting back is futile, Classic! allows the X!Gang to wreak havoc on Ebott City and does not attempt to help his friends in battle. Skills Like any normal Sans, he is capable of using blue attacks (telekinesis) bone attacks, Gaster Blasters (a dragon skull that spits blue laser) and teleportation, Events: Once he wakes up in a strange area, he wonders how many times he has been in strange dimensions, and after walking around a bit, he finds Cross, who tells him that his timeline will not change once he becomes part of it. When he reveals that he is him, he has an instinctive reaction, pulling out his Gaster Blasters. Cross!Chara tries to calm him down, saying that he needed a place to stay for a while, which Sans doesn't find very amusing, and runs off. He doesn't get that far, as Cross pulls him back in to take half of his own soul. Once the two return to their universe, Ink!Sans comes to save the day, but is unable to take the soul back, as Cross!Chara leaves for his own universe. Ink!Sans soon explains to him who exactly Cross was, saying that they have not done this kind of act before. Sans is not too concerned, as they are still able to function fine even without half of their soul, but during a volleyball playoff where Sans, Papyrus, and Frisk face Undyne, Alphys, and Asgore, Sans is unable to dodge the volleyball that Undyne throws at them, and he visualizes XGaster as he falls to the ground. He goes to Ink's ink pool, asking him to take it, but Frisk becomes suspicious of this and confronts Sans one by one. After discovering that he only has half a soul, Frisk suggests restarting the game, to which Sans rejects in front of Ink. With the story told, Frisk wants to help the two find Cross, but he tells them to take care of them while he finds his soul, promising to visit them while he goes on a rescue mission. Frisk hands him a limited-edition bottle of ketchup for Sans, claiming that it will be useful to him. After taking a nap, he is shocked to be back in "Nevada", but he quickly realizes that this is not his Nevada, but Underfell 's . As the two advance towards Nevada City, Sans once again fails thanks to Cross, and once Underfell!Sans impales him, he begins to feel the same way as well, as if he himself had been stabbed. Once the two arrive in the city, Sans decides to act as Ink's pawn, where Cross takes control of Underfell!Sans to act as his pawn. The two fight each other, and after Underfell!Sans is tied up by Ink, he soon begins explaining to Cross that he needs a nap, and explains to him about seeing XGaster out of nowhere. Once Underfell!Sans breaks free from Ink's hold, he uses his special attack on Cross: his slipper. It was enough to distract them to allow Underfell!Sans to be freed from his control. Once Ink is caught off guard by Error!Sans , he decides to take a break and leave, which Underfell!Sans follows since his brother threatened to use his head to make his spaghetti. During the break, Core!Frisk tells him that in order to defeat Cross, he needs to distract them. As Underfell!Sans comes with him, he plays with the echo flowers to annoy him. Once Ink leaves Error!Sans, Sans suggests that they should go to his universe, which Ink tells him is impossible considering that X-Tale is now an empty world where finding Cross would be difficult to do, plus the fact that he has half a soul. Dream!Sans tells the three where Cross is going for the next performance of his X-Event. Once in Underswap , Underswap!Sans believed he created clones, but recognizes Ink, who tells him that Sans and Underfell!Sans will die soon. They all head to the city center to find that Underswap! Toriel has been slashed in her left eye. As Underswap!Chara heads to the scene, Sans tells Underfell!Sans about his plan. It works; Cross is defeated and Sans regains his soul. Their plans go to waste, however, when Cross!Chara absorbs most of Underswap !Chara 's soul . When Sans questioned Ink about X-Tale!Chara being his friend, X-Tale!Chara sends him and Underfell!Sans to X-Tale. As the two struggle to get out, Dream!Sans appears, asking them to stop feeling negative since he can't get them out of here and go back to Underswap, even reminding Sans that he is filled with hatred. Once Underswap!Papyrus starts thinking about how this timeline was the best they could be in, Dream!Sans is able to get in with the two, and once Sans saw the situation and how it was giving him déjà vu, he blocked X-Tale!Chara's path of attack, at the cost of his ketchup bottle. He then fights X-Tale!Chara, even giving Underswap!Chara some of his soul back.X-Tale! Chara explains to Sans if he is worried about all his other "Sans", and explains that his world is not what it seems to be. Before he can get any further to convince Sans to kill Ink, he is stopped by Nightmare!Sans, who stabs Underswap!Chara and takes X-Tale!Chara with him. With the timeline collapsing with Underswap!Chara's death, Sans takes Underswap!Sans to where Dream!Sans is taking the rest of the gangSans is first seen in Outertale along with Underfell!Sans and Underswap!Sans. He overhears their conversation about what happened when they both got involved with Cross or X-Tale!Chara, though his eye sockets turn completely black when XGaster is mentioned. He eventually changes the subject, and Underfell!Sans comments that Ink had disappeared again. Sans decides to go explore Outertale to look for Ink, and he tells the other two Sanses to make sure they are not seen by anyone.As he explores, Sans sits against a brick wall and takes out his heart locket. He remembers X-Tale!Chara's words ("...Just a world with the best of others. Just one Universe...") and becomes angry, saying that he has enough tension in his own universe.He hears some monsters talking about a meteor shower in the distance and gets up to watch. As he does so, he hears a voice behind him, encouraging him to introduce himself. The voice turns out to be Outertale!Sans , and after an unexpected greeting involving two whoopie cushions, the two begin to talk for a while. Sans asks if the space counterpart has seen another Sans in a different outfit, and Outertale!Sans says no.The two walk around the place, and Outertale!Sans talks about his universe and his Papyrus. Sans interrupts him, calling him lucky because he can see the stars all the time. After a brief argument, Outertale!Sans sees Killer!Sans and asks Sans if that was who he was looking for. Sans denies it and tells the other Sanses not to interfere. After eavesdropping, the two realize that Killer!Sans, Error!Sans, Nightmare!Sans, and X-Tale!Chara were all aware of their presence. After Outertale!Sans sacrifices himself to fight Killer!Sans, Sans manages to teleport back to Underfell!Sans and Underswap!Sans, telling them that they need to leave. After a comment from Underfell!Sans, Error manages to find them and bind their souls in their ropes.During Error and Ink's confrontation, Ink notes that Classic!Sans, Underfell!Sans, and Underswap!Sans were not his friends. Underfell!Sans angrily yells that Ink betrayed them, but Sans tells him that it was always his idea.After an explanation from X-Tale!Chara and an outburst of anger from Error, Ink makes the first move to attack Error. Error uses Classic!Sans, Underfell!Sans, and Underswap!Sans to attack Ink with his Gaster Blasters, but this plan eventually backfires once Ink releases them and their SOULs from the bonds of Error's ropes. After a while of fighting, Ink begins to explain his plan with the game once Underswap!Sans tells him that he should want to protect the AUs instead of intervening like he was. Sans tells him that he won't be able to enjoy the possibilities if he has no emotion, and Ink replies that it won't be like this forever before dropping the vial holding XGaster's soul and releasing him.Upon being confronted by XGaster, Sans watches in horror as he shatters the souls of Underswap!Sans and Underfell!Sans before being brought back to his own timeline, with everyone from his universe except Frisk looking at his scarred expression in confusion.After being brought back to his universe, Sans discovers that he was only gone for a few hours from his friends' perspective, laughing at the whole situation. To avoid spilling the beans about the multiverse, he makes up an excuse about being buried alive by a dog. Once he arrives at Toriel's house, Frisk invites him to his room, where Sans berates Frisk for their broken timeline, simply because their new owner now has a palatable interest in their timeline. After explaining what happened throughout his adventure, Sans leaves to go to Grillby's.
